Both Ben and Kali stood side by side on separate podiums as they were discussing a plan to tell Ben's parents about his proclamation about bringing the VK's over from the Isle of the Lost. Currently though, they couldn't talk much given the fact that they were being fitted for their coronation outfits. Kali was staring straight ahead of her, trying not to curse the tailor who kept stabbing her arm while Ben was in his own world, staring out the window at the Isle of the Lost.

Ben was to be crowd King in less than a month while Kali was made to be his Royal Adviser during his coronation. Kali had no problem with being an adviser to someone she considered her family.

"Sleeve. Head. Ah-ha!" The tailor Ben had took his measurements as he lifted Ben's arm while he continued staring out the window.

Kali smiled in amusement at her friend being moved around like a puppet. Though her amusement was cut short when the door to dorm opened to reveal the King and Queen. "How is it possible that you're going to be crowned King next month? And you his Royal Adviser? You both just babies!" Ben's parents walked inside by side with their arms hooked together.

Kali rolled her eyes playfully with a small smile on her lips. Belle and Adam or more known as Beauty and The Beast were the God parents of Kali. Since Kali was little, Ben and she had been friends. He'd introduced her to his parents who knew her aunt and uncle. Kali was one of the only people who were able to be brutally honest with Ben and him not take it the wrong way. Which is why they have appointed her as Royal Adviser.

"He's turning sixteen, dear and Kali's sixteen turning seventeen." Belle grinned at her son and Goddaughter. "You both look wonderful, darlings." Belle complimented making both teens blush. Ben wearing royal blue whereas Kali was having a sky-blue suit.

"Hey pops." Ben attempted to step down off the podium before the tailor made a noise making him stay still. "Sixteen? That's far too young to be crowned King. I didn't make a good decision till I was at least forty-two" He joked as he took off his glasses making his wife look at him offended. Out the corner of her eye, Kali could see Ben's face drop from not being heard but lightened up at the smile she sent him. The Florian's were like her second family, so much so that they had a room for just her in their castle when she would attend school and even have her fitted for a crown of her own.

"Uh. You decided to marry me at twenty-eight." Belle sassed with offense making Kali hold in a slight giggle.

"Well, it was either you or a teapot." The King winked at the two making Ben and Kali chuckle, while Belle rolled her eyes not finding her husband's joke amusing. "I'm kidding." He tells her before looking at Kali.

"Morning, Kali. Have you talked to your father lately?" Kali shakes her head softly as she looks at her Godfather. "Not since last month. He says he won't be able to make it to Parents Day this year." Her father made it last year for Parents' Day but didn't stay long, given the fact he had an emergency that needed his attention.

"I'm sure he'll be able to make it." Belle reassured with a sweet smile making Kali smile back. Belle was one mother figure that Kali felt blessed to have in her life.

"Fingers crossed." Kali then nudged Ben's side and sent him a look so he could discuss with his parents what they had been going over for the last two hours.

"Mom, Dad?" She nods to him, encouragement swimming in her dark irises. Ben swallows thickly as he nods back. "I've chosen my first official proclamation." He straightens out his suit jacket as he speaks with a newfound confidence.

Beast and Belle's face's both showed excitement and curiosity for what Ben had decided as his first act towards Kinghood. Kali and Ben looked at each other as they shared a look know they would be either disappointed, pissed, understanding or all three.

"I've decided that the children on the Isle of the Lost be given a chance to live here in Auradon." He admitted earning a proud grin from Kali and ignoring the looks of shock on his parents faces. 'Now, keep going. Just like we practiced.' She watches as Ben steps off his podium, much to his tailor's annoyance.

"Every time I look out to the I feel like they've been abandoned."

"The children of our sworn enemies, living among us?" Beast asks, looking at Ben as if he's grown three heads.

Ben nodded lacing his fingers together. "We start out with a few at first, only the ones who need our help the most. I've already chosen them." Ben ends off with a grin.

Beast purses his lips in a frown. "Have you?" His tone tight and rough as he narrowed his eyes in on Ben as though he would send him off to the Isle himself for such an idea.

Belle placed a gentle hand on her husband's arm, feeling the tension in the room. "I gave you a second chance." Beast's eyes trailed around the room, silently agreeing with his wife. "Who are their parent's?" Belle asked.

Ben and Kali locked eyes with each other.

"Cruella de Vil.........Jafar..........." The two listed as they watched the King and Queen's faces fall with each name.

"Evil Queen."

"And Maleficent."

The two tailor's that were tending to both Ben and Kali let out weak gasps as they drop their notepads and leave the room at the sheer mention of the villains name.

"Maleficent!" Beast exclaimed in disbelief at the declaration his son was making. "She is the worst villain in the land!"

"Dad just here me out."

"I won't hear of it. They are guilty of unspeakable crimes." Kali steps off her podium becoming the new voice of reason in the room.

"But Uncle Adam, their children are innocent, unlike their parents. They have time to be different from their parents and not take the same path they did. They don't have the same reasons that drive their parents to hate us. We can give them a chance at a normal life, a chance they didn't start out with. So please, can we give them this opportunity?" The room becomes silent, both adults looking at the young genie in contemplation whereas her best friend looks at her in admiration for sticking up for his ideals.

The King and Queen looked at each other as though they were having a conversation without words before Beast ultimately sighed. "I suppose their children are innocent." He concedes, turning away making both teens look at each other with a grin.

"Well.....Well done." Belle congratulates them as she steps to them and fixes Ben's suit jacket. The King and Queen leave the room leaving Kali and Ben, Kali zooming around the room in excitement. "I told you you'd do it."

"We did it. If it wasn't for you, I wouldn't have had the confidence to do it." Kali smiles softly at the boys words, placing a hand over her heart. "You would've been able to do it Ben, I just gave you that extra push."

Ben walks over to the window that faces the direction of the Isle as Kali floats right next to him. "How do you think this is going to go?" She asks him.

Ben stares at the Isle, glancing down to his ring. "It's going to go great."

This will be fine, won't it?
