Kali sighed through her nose, leaning back in back in her chair with Ben sat next to her. The two watched as the King paced back and forth, ranting about the alarm that went off in the museum last night.

Her outfit today was a white dress shirt, and black slacks with matching dress shoes. If it were any other day, she wouldn't be as dressed as much as she was, but it was a school day and it was an important meeting.

Kali looked to her best friend, his face matching that of the bored look on hers. Ben glanced to the young genie seeing the look of tiredness in her eyes. She really needed to get her sleep schedule back on track.

Kali cleared her throat, standing up from her seat. "With all due respect Uncle Adam, you can't make accusations about them just because of one incident. Why do you even assume it was them?" Ben sat stunned looking between his father and best friend. No one too much dared to question his rule but that didn't apply to his goddaughter.

"She's right dad. Besides, you heard the call. It was a malfunction on the mechanics end." King Adam's eyes switching between the two teens. Ben and Kali were both inarguable forces that the King couldn't argue with, but that was mainly due to Ben's puppy dog eyes and Kali's ability to argue. She should be a lawyer.

Denial was nipping in the corner of Kali's brain, a feeling telling her that the VK's were responsible but ignored it.

Beast continued to rant about the incident, Ben sighing in his seat and Kali creating laying her head on the table as two smaller version of herself form on top of her head and laying there.

This was going to be a long meeting.

Being the good friend she was and having nothing else better to do, Kali went to the boys tourney practice. She sat on the bleachers, Nevaeh sat beside her as she decided to tag along.

Other than them, there were other girls spread out on the bleachers. Some there to watch their boyfriends, others there to bat their lashes at the boys on the field. Kali and Nevaeh just wanted to see what the new kids had to show for.

Coach blew the whistle. "Jay, Ben, offense. Chad, you're defense." He ordered, directing the boys where they need to be. "Taylor, you're the shooter." His eyes finding Carlos, his helmet in his hand, looking around as though he was a lost puppy trying to find his owner in a crowd. "Hey. Hey! Hey, you. Lost boy!" Carlos turned his attention to him. "Put your helmet on. Get out of the kill zone!"

Carlos' brows furrowed. "Kill Zone?" He mumbled curiously to himself, wondering quickly off the red sprayed grass right before Coach blew the whistle, signaling to begin.

As the game started, Kali watched with an eyeroll as the cheerleaders began their cheer while Nevaeh set them a charming smile. While yes, Nevaeh preached about never dating royals who went to the school, didn't mean that she wouldn't get there hopes up. The heir apparent already had her eyes set on someone else.

The duo's eyes traveling back to the game, grins of amusement falling to their lips as they watched Jay aggressively shove the opposing players, some even being players on his own team. If he were to win, it was by any means. He flew through the Kill Zone without a problem, occasionally flipping over a ball that would be shot at him as he made his way toward the goal and straight for Carlos.

Carlos swallowed nervously, his eyes widening in fear as he saw Jay was heading straight for him. "Jay, it's me! It's Carlos. Wait, stop, Jay. Stop!" His pleas falling on deaf ears. In a last-ditch effort, Carlos threw his tourney stick at Jay out of fear before Jay launched the ball at him.

Carlos defended himself, holding the shield in front of him making the ball bounce off and Carlos fall to the ground with his shield as a form of cover, yelping as Jay used it as a boost before tackling another player and getting the ball to score it in the goal.
