Fives POV:
I looked at the photo of me on the wall, I was glad to be back, but I have a mission to stop the apocalypse.
I heard footsteps behind me and turned around, I saw my best friend y/n. we met at the commission, the handler put us as partners, we soon grew to be best friends.
"still admiring yourself I see?" she joked causing me to smile, "who wouldn't admire me?" I said and we both chuckled.
"are you happy to see your family again?" she asked, I felt a warm feeling in my heart "I am, I did almost everything to get back to those idiots, it's nice to see nothings changed."
after a few moments of silence y/n spoke up again "do you think we're still gonna be best friends if we're in different timelines?".
"I hope not" I smirked as she smiled "sure, whatever you say five" she walked away.
Time jump
after failing to save the world in 2019, me and my siblings jumped to the 1960's, It was abit lonely without y/n there but I tried not to think about it.
after another apocalypse on its way we tried to figure out what was the caused and it turned out to be vanya (again). but we stopped it, of course there was a lot of harm caused.
the handler and lila sent an army to attack us, and it turned out that lila had powers shocking us all, but we soon got rid of the handler while lila stole a briefcase and jumped off.
we travelled back to 2019 but were in a different timeline, dad had decided to adopt completely different kids and raise them as the sparrow academy, it sure did piss me off.
after a big fight with them, klaus's found us a place to stay called "hotel obsidian". we were finally at peace, I am officially retired and I'm currently on a road trip with klaus.
atleast I thought it was a road trip, turns out he actually took us to see his birth mother, I waited in the car as klaus went to find his mother.
I sat in the car looking at the field filled with cows outside the window, I looked and saw a girl who looked my age, she was feeding a cow.
she looked familiar, I got out of the car and walked over to her. "excuse me?" I said and she turned around, it was y/n, I couldn't believe my eyes, it's really her...
"yes?" she said politely, I said nothing, I just stared at her with a shocked expression, "uhh can I help you?" she asked again.
I snapped out of my thoughts "yeah...you can actually" I said. "are you lost? do you need directions?" she said with a friendly smile.
"no...I'm not lost" I spoke firmly. "so what do you need help with?" she asked getting confused. I was about to explain everything to her but she'd probably look at her like I was a crazy person.
imagine a random stranger coming up to you and saying that you guys are best friends in another timeline and you met because you were partners and our jobs were assassinating people.
"sorry, I'm gonna go" she walked away, I quickly followed after her "hey wait.." I gently grabbed her arm. "I'm sorry, I wasn't trying to be weird, but you just remind me of someone I lost, that's all"
she looked at me with sympathy, I decided to speak again "can you meet me here whenever you can?" I asked and handed her a piece of paper with the address to the hotel obsidian.
she took the paper confused and nodded slowly. "thank you.." I smiled and then a strange force hit us and all the cows disappeared. "cant I get one fucking day off?" I groaned in annoyance.
over the next few minutes, I was writing equations on the car window while y/n was staring at the field confused as to where the cows had gone.
we heard shouting in the distance and looked up to see klaus running up to us with people behind him, chasing after him.
"start the car!!" he shouted as I ran to the car and started the engine. I looked to y/n "you coming?" I asked with hope "why not.." she said and got in the back.
klaus finally got into the car after talking to a woman, we began driving while klaus was telling me all about what had happened. he looked in the mirror and saw y/n behind us.
"y/n! I haven't seen you in such a long time, how you been? where've you been actually?" he turned around with an excited expression.
y/n looked confused. "how do you know my name?" she asked and klaus looked at me questioningly, "i'll explain every thing later." I said as we continued driving.
