Y/ns POV:
I walked down the corridors of hotel oblivion, looking at the door number until I found the right one, I pulled the door knob and it opened "what kind of idiot doesn't lock their door?" I muttered to myself before walking in.
"y/n" five spoke as he sat on his bed, "hi" I said calmly, "why so quiet?" he asked as I stared at him "i'm not here to stick around, i'm here because I want to find a way to stop this 'kugelblitz' thing."
I looked around the hotel room, there was 3 beds and a couch, if a bunk bed counts as two beds then yeah, "well y/n, we aren't saving the world this time" he said casually. I turned to look at him "why not?".
"I saw my 100 year old self and he told me "don't save the world" he spoke "don't save the world?"
"don't save the world"."so you're just gonna let us all die then, after everything?" I asked, he stood up "well, there's a few things on my bucket list and if there's anything on yours then I suggest you go do it now".
"the commission was right about you, you should've stayed" I said and he turned and looked at me "you're the one who insisted to come with me, you didn't wanna work there anymore either!" he pointed.
"maybe I didn't, but I knew that they are always right about something." I started looking around, I tried on a top hat and frowned as I saw myself in the mirror.
I knew that five was staring at me, even though I wasn't looking, you know that feeling when you're in public and you can feel eyes on you? that's what I feel right now.
"why are you staring at me?" I asked, not even looking at him.
"well, you're very beautiful" he said sarcastically, I rolled my eyes "real mature". "you think I'm lying?" he asked.
"five, you're incapable of showing normal human emotions, I doubt you have feelings for me" I laughed and he scoffed.
"is that so?" he stood up and walked up to me. "five-" he cut me off. "I want us to be more than colleagues" he grabbed my hands. I looked at him for a second "you'll snap out of it".
"Don't do that" he frowned. "don't discount my feelings" he continued as I looked into his eyes "I'm not colleague material let alone more than colleague material" I spoke.
he raised his eyebrows as he gestured for me to continue. I sighed "i'll ignore you, stomp on your heart, and always put my work, needs and interests first".
"yeah, you can keep trying to push me away...it's not gonna work" five looked at me intensely.
"I almost killed you" referring back to when we were enemies and would try to kill eachother every chance we got.
"I survived"
"beginners luck"
"I'm tougher than you think" he shot back instantly. He leaned forward and I tried one last time to make him think otherwise "you're making a mistake" he stopped "probably".
I corrected "definitely" he leaned in more and put one of his hand on my face. we were about to kiss but klaus walked in.
"hey bitches!" he laughed and lied down on the top bunk, five sighed in annoyance and left the room, "what's his problem?" klaus asked as he turned over.
I simply shrugged left too. "where's everybody going?" I heard Klaus call out, I sighed and left.
over the next few days, five had been avoiding me which was really pissing me off. I walked downstairs and saw him taking a shot, I snuck up behind him.
"I don't wanna talk to anybody" he spoke as he probably heard me walking "well then maybe you shouldn't be sitting out in the open".
he turned around and looked at me. "five" I spoke and he raised his eyebrows "y/n."
"you've been avoiding me"
"what? no I haven't!"
"you're lying" I glared.
he sighed "fine, maybe I was". I nodded sarcastically "why?" I asked as I walked closer to him "because I was embarrassed, okay? how would you feel if we were about to kiss and one of your siblings walked in?" he asked.
I tiled my head "my siblings wouldn't care, well, actually they would, they'd be teasing me non-stop and make jokes every time they'd see us together".
"see? I don't want that to happen" five sighed and ran his hands through his hair, "I don't think Klaus knew what we were gonna do" I spoke as he looked at me.
"you don't?" he furrowed his eyebrows, "if he did, wouldn't he have said something by now?" "I guess he doesn't".
I half smiled and he looked into my eyes "sorry about klaus walking in", I smirked "it's all good, it's helps me to know when someone's coming, I can feel them...and then I know if I can trust them or not".
"do you trust me?" five asked as he stepped forward. I didn't say anything and after a few seconds he continued "do you trust me enough to be more than friends?".
he stopped when we were right in front of each other, I still didn't say anything, instead I leaned forward and so did he and our lips met.
the gap between us had closed and he moved one of his hands to cup my face, this felt...weird, but in a good way, i've never kissed somebody before, especially someone i've worked with for years.
I then suddenly got a vision and fell to the ground, five catching me. I saw blood, lots of it. it was the board, they were being murdered one by one, I then saw AJ hiding underneath the table, he leaked his head up and it showed Five covered in blood.
I thought he was done with all the killing...we promised each other, I stopped killing and he said that he did too, my vision then showed five murdering more and more people, blood everywhere, people screaming.
my eyes widened as I snapped back into reality, "hey, you okay?" five asked as I looked at him with wide eyes, I stood up, feeling abit dizzy.
"i've gotta go" I tried to ignore my pounding headache but that didn't really work, "y/n!" five called out after me as I left the hotel.
"of course the first guy I kiss would turn out to be a psychotic serial killing monster.....I guess I have a type" I thought to myself as I ran down the street, away from the hotel
