Fives POV:
I walked into the academy and saw klaus talking to someone, I walked into the kitchen and saw him sitting at the table with a girl that looked around my age.
"who's this?" I asked. they both turned and looked at me "this is my daughter five" Klaus smiled. he then stood up and walked over to me.
"y/n come here" he smiled. she stood up and also walked over. "y/n, meet your uncle five...five meet your niece y/n" he said enthusiastically.
we shook hands and she looked down at the floor. I could tell that she was one of those awkward teenage girls.
she rubbed her eyes a little bit, and looked around. "so klaus...where you been?" I asked. "everywhere" he laughed. y/n looked down again awkwardly.
"you don't talk much, do you?" I said. she looked up at me "not much" she smiled. I smiled back, klaus cracked his back "oh! that hurt!" he laughed.
he then walked away without even acknowledging me or his daughter. "so..." I said, trying to break the awkward silence.
"so..." she repeated, I looked at her for a moment and I saw a sparkle in her eye, indicating that she probably had an idea that would stop the awkward silence between us.
"you like peanut butter and marshmallow sandwiches?" she asked. "yeah...I do, I love them actually" I smiled.
"me too, everyone says that they taste horrible but they haven't even tried them" she smiled back, I laughed and agreed.
so for the next few hours, we started bonding, we had peanut butter and marshmallow sandwiches, we're spoke to eachother about our hatred for people and she also liked black coffee, we're more alike than we think.
soon enough, klaus ran in "oh my gosh, I totally forgot about you guys, my apologies, I hope you two weren't just sitting in silence?" he asked.
"no, we actually spoke a lot, we have a lot in common, don't we y/n?" I nudged her a little bit, she smiled and nodded, klaus looked shocked to say the least.
"well good, it's nice to interact with others more y/n, I'm proud of you kid" he gently put his hand on her shoulder.
I thought to myself about how awkward she was, I have truly never seen someone like her, nothing bad of course, very unique actually.
