Jungkook picked up his phone from the floor, relieved that it still worked despite the fall. His eyes were red and puffy from crying and anger.

He checked the tracker on his phone.

Yes he again put the tracker in her bracelet but this time reasons were different.

Three years ago, when she had left, it had hurt him deeply. He had put the tracker in her bracelet to make sure he wouldn't lose her again, not to spy on her.

Jungkook stormed out of the room, his mind racing. The location wasn’t too far, so he told his driver to head there quickly. On the way, he noticed that the tracker still showed her in the same spot.

When they arrived, he was puzzled to find she wasn’t there. Instead, the tracker led him to a bag sitting on a bench. At first, he thought it might be a mistake, so he refreshed the tracker and tried to redirect it, but it still pointed to the bag.

Realization hit him—this must be her bag. With a sinking feeling, he opened it and found items like a baby pacifier and other personal things. Among them were his ring and bracelet. She must have left them behind.

He took the bag and asked his driver to talk to the security .

Jungkook’s frustration grew with every passing second. His desperation to find her and fix things was overwhelming.

The security team was ready to hand over the bag to Jungkook, but since he didn’t know where exactly Annie was, he asked them to call her to arrange for its collection.

The security asked for her number since Jungkook didn’t know the bus number she had taken. He gave them the number he had. When they called, As the phone rang, Jungkook’s mind was a storm of anger and desperation. His heart raced with a mixture of hope and frustration.
it rang several times before she finally answered.

Hearing her voice on the other end, Jungkook's anger surged. The realization that she had blocked him only added to his frustration. How dare she cut him off like that?

Annie finally answered, her voice was tired and stressed. “Oh no, I almost reached town and have a lot of formalities to handle,” she said. “I’m a single mother with two kids, and I’ve just moved into a new house. I can’t come back right away. Could you store the bag in a locker for three days? I’ll come back to pick it up then.”

Jungkook felt a surge of anger and helplessness. His frustration reached a boiling point. How could she be so detached, so indifferent to the way she was playing with his emotions? Every second of waiting and every obstacle felt like a personal attack. He could barely contain his rage as he listened to her excuses.

Yet, amid the fury, he couldn’t ignore the pang of understanding that struck him. He realized how much pain and struggle she had been through—just as he had suffered when she left. Her situation with her kids, her new house, the stress of moving—it all painted a picture of someone overwhelmed and vulnerable.

Despite his empathy, Jungkook’s anger didn’t subside. He was tormented by the thought of her moving on so easily while he was left grappling with his emotions.

“If being gentle doesn’t work, I’ll find another way to make you mine. You’re not going to walk away from me that easily. Just wait and see.”

Jungkook made a bold decision. He informed HYBE that he would be taking a break for up to six months and instructed them not to contact him during this period. He made it clear that they could use archived content to maintain his presence in the public eye. he asked them to cover his absence with old footage and songs. When Jimin asked him repeatedly about his plans, Jungkook simply said he wanted to spend time with his family.
