Miles' POV

"At last we meet, Dark queen." I said with an emotionless expression as she stood front of me. She was ugly, just like the rest of the black witches surrounding us right now.

"Hahahaha. So you've been anticipating meeting me? Ha! Let me tell you, werewolf. I don't fancy you one bit! And all I want to do is to end your life right now!" She implied with a scrutinizing gaze.

Something about her just wasn't right. From her messy black hair to her evil green eyes. Let's not even talk about her dressing, she was literally in rags. Her petite form didn't complement her evil nature. But there was something deeper. I could see it in her eyes but I just couldn't put a word to it. It's almost like she was begging for a release.....

"I still have the white witches to deal with, so let's finish up here quickly shall we?" She suddenly lunged at me but I was quicker.

She stumbled behind me and grunted. I could see Aliyah from the corner of my eyes, struggling to get up.

The other witches weren't paying her any attention.

Melsa ran towards me with a ferocious roar, she was holding a silver knife. How didn't I see that before?

Silver could end any werewolves life in matter of minutes. I ran to the side before she could attack me.

We kept going on like that for some minutes, with her trying to stab me and me dodging her attacks.

My plan was to wear her out so I could easily take her down but she seemed so smart.

She suddenly stopped and threw the knife aside.

"Let's try another way, shall we?" She started chanting some spells and I prepared my mind for whatever was to come.

A large wave suddenly threw me to a far end and I landed on the floor with a thud.

Oh so she wasn't going to play fair? Game on.

I got up and transformed into my huge wolf.

I could see Aliyah fighting off some witches and they seemed to have the upper hand.

Melsa walked towards me, smiling maniacally and I bared my teeth at her.

I jumped on her and she struggled to get out of my grip. I bit her left arm and she let out a blood curdling scream. I took that as an advantage and gave her a few more wounds before running off to help Aliyah who was on the verge of getting killed.

I pushed the witch who had her and tore her head from her neck. Aliyah had a terrible wound on her leg and I panicked for a bit.

Other witches started attacking me and I took them down one by one.

Soon they were all laying on the floor, their body quickly decomposing and turning into specs of dust.

Melsa got up from where she had been laying. If she looked evil before, then she was diabolical now. She looked like she could set the whole earth on fire.

"You!!!!" She yelled running towards me with full speed. She once again had the silver knife and was lunging it at me.

"Alpha!" Aliyah yelled and pushed me aside, the knife piercing her right arm.

She groaned and fell down, holding the bleeding spot.

I growled as I tackled Melsa and tore her limbs. I couldn't go further because she suddenly disappeared.

I changed back to my human form and ran towards Aliyah.

"Hey, you okay?" I asked dumbly.

She laughed softly and nodded.

"I'm okay Alpha. Let's get on with our journey." I sighed and placed my hand on her wounded arm, healing her immediately. I also healed her leg and she smiled.

"That's better." She giggled and I helped her up.

She cleared her throat and looked away blushing, only then did I realize I was stark naked.

"I'll go out something on. Get in the car." I told her and walked to the trunk.

I scavenged through my bag and took out a pair of joggers and white tee.

I entered the car and tried to start it.

"I'll break the spell on the car." Aliyah said and closed her eyes, chanting some spell.

The car roared back to life and I smiled.

We continued our journey in silence for a while.

"Is she still alive?" I asked, referring to Melsa.

"Yes, witches don't die easily. Especially not the dark queen. We got to be more careful. She might attack again anytime soon." Aliyah said.

"We need to hurry up then. My pack needs me." I said.

We finally got to the white witches realm at night.

There was an old mighty gate at the beginning and Aliyah said it was the only entrance to their realm and black witches couldn't enter or they'll get burned.

The kingdom was beautiful, neat and we'll maintained.  Most of all, it looked peaceful. As we drove down the streets, the people around stared at my car as if seeing something foreign.

"We don't use technology around here, that's why." Aliyah said answering my unasked question.

We got to the palace and it was beautiful just like every other buildings I'd seen in this kingdom. It stood tall and magnificent. It was the only building made with bricks as all the others were mud houses.

The gates of the palace was opened as if they were already expecting our arrival. I parked my car at a corner and we both got out.

A little girl about lily's age ran to hug Aliyah.

"Ali!" She squealed. Two other girls that looked identical to her also ran out of the building.

"Welcome Alpha." One of them greeted me. They were triplets and they had an uncanny resemblance to Aliyah.

"Meet my little sisters. Anne, Annabelle and Anastasia." Aliyah said and all three girls curtsied.

"It's nice to meet you all." I smiled at them.

"The queen mother awaits you. Please come in." The first girl said and I nodded.

She led me inside while the other two kept chattering with Aliyah behind us.

The interiors of the castle were just as beautiful. It screamed elegance. Everywhere I walked in this palace, eyes were on me. It was like I was a foreign body, well I guess I was.

We got to a double door with two men standing on each side. They bowed slightly and opened the doors.

We walked in and I saw the queen, she was backing us, looking out the large ceiling to floor windows that had a wide view of the entire kingdom.

"Hi Mother." Aliyah said and my eyes widened.
