A month had passed and I had finished everything needed to officially become the chairwoman of Empyreal Designs. With my new role, I had become one of the most powerful women in China. Alec came in that month to help with everything until we both came back. I was getting used to the workload and responsibility and I could see the amount of love and effort my grandfather had put into the company, so I would do the same. However, I chose to remain in the shadows, revealing only my name and not my face.
During this time, a lot had happened with the boys. BTS had gone to the States for their tour before returning to Korea. Jin had met his soulmate, Stacy, during their trip. They had brought her back to Korea, she was now living with BTS in the dorms. Stacy couldn't speak Korean and honestly I knew very little about her.
It was early morning when I sat in the car on my way to the dorms, my thoughts kept drifting back to Tae. The way his eyes sparkled when he smiled, the sound of his laughter, the warmth of his hand in mine. It was getting harder to focus on anything else. I turned my phone on and my phone buzzed. It was a message from Tae.
"I miss you Bear"
My heart skipped a beat. I quickly typed a reply, my fingers trembling slightly."I miss you too"
I decided that I would surprise the boys. It was about 8 in the morning when I finally arrived at the dorms. I felt a mixture of excitement and nervousness as I walked through the familiar halls. I had really missed them so much; they had made such a big impact in my life and life felt empty without them. Taking a deep breath, I knocked lightly before letting myself in.
The dorm was quiet, the soft hum of appliances the only sound. As I entered the living room, I saw Jin in the kitchen making a midnight snack. Jin looked up, his face lighting up with a smile when he saw me.
"Y/N! You're back!" he exclaimed, running around the counter and coming to hug me.
"It's good to see you, Jin Oppa," I said, hugging him tightly.
Jin frowned when he released me and held onto my shoulders. "Why are you so thin? Did they not feed you?"
I laughed at the familiar nagging but also caring mother in front of me. "They treated me very well, oppa. Mother is more to handle than you."
He nodded approvingly and then said, "I was making breakfast, Would you like some?"
I really missed his cooking, so it didn't take a second for me to nod frantically and say "I would love anything that is made by you, oppa. But first, where are the others?"
"Most of them are in their rooms, I think" Jin replied. "They were exhausted from the dance practice. But I'm sure they'll be thrilled to see you."
Just as Jin finished speaking, the door to one of the bedrooms creaked open and Tae walked out, rubbing his eyes sleepily. I gulped, looking at him for the first time in a month. He froze when he saw me, a wide smile spreading across his face.
