"You can't get rid of me."

"That's not what I meant! I-I do not want to get rid of you."

Lili yelled defensively, not liking the idea of being a person who'd willingly do that. Suo smiled at her confession, ruffling her hair with an apologizing look for getting her worked up.

"Oh, it's Umemiya-san."

Lili pointed to the man approaching their side, hiding her flustered expression from the act before.

"Ah, it's little Lili~" The white-haired man waved his hand at them quite energetically.

Lili knew Bofurin's leader, who treated her like his family. She's always been captivated by how he did that, cherishing everyone as his family.

"Taking a walk?" He patted her head, squishing it like a basketball.

Suo smiled as he watched her hair spring out after Ume took his hands from her head. Ume was special, and so was everyone from Bofurin.

Lili knew how kind the people of Furin could be, as she had experienced it before. It felt like an eternal love, something she wanted to cherish.

"I brought capsicum seeds today!" He pointed to a piece of paper enclosed in his hand. Lili noticed the strange apron he wore and looked at Suo, who seemed unfazed, or rather used to it.

"Kotoha sent me here!" Ume gushed, his cheeks turning red as he ruffled his hair.

"It looks like it's about to rain." Someone complained grumpily from behind, and Lili recognized those leather pants.

"Hiragi-san?"

A gray head popped up from behind, looking disgruntled.

"We are already late!" Hiragi yelled, clutching at his stomach. Hiragi nodded at Suo and Lili, acknowledging their presence.

"Ah, it's already late? Kotoha will be waiting," Ume smiled.

"He looks professional with the apron," Lili thought as she watched him leave. Ume usually delivers some of his vegetables to her, insisting she needs them to get stronger.

Suo always ends up contemplating whether to help her out or not in the kitchen. Seeing her so stubborn, he has no choice but to watch her.

"I can cook!" She'd yell while using the backside of the knife to peel a potato.

Lili would notice the stars and moon in his eye whenever he spoke.

There was a moment of silence, followed by a downpour.

"It's starting to rain." Suo placed his palm on her head, his other hand pointing to the sweet shop nearby.

Lili held his sleeve and ran to the shop, where they took shelter under the roof. Lili held out her hand and watched as the rain continued to fall as the petrichor soothed her.

She crouched down, noticing something crawling on the wet street—a bug.

She took it in her palm and stood, showing it to the man watching her. He merely smiled at her, his gaze falling on the wet ends of her hair.

"A ladybug?"

Lili stared at the tiny insect in her hand. She smiled affectionately, noticing it crawling across her palm.

"Do you mind it?" She asked, ruffling her wet hair. Suo was the only one who didn't mind her shoving insects in his face, and she wondered if she made him uncomfortable.

There was a moment of silence, and Lili looked at the angry sky. The rain was heavy, and it didn't look like it was about to stop anytime soon.

"I think you're cool."
