Karn was pacing outside the chamber, his heart pounding with a mixture of anxiety and excitement. Beside him stood Kulguru Vashishta, Brihadbala, Avantika, Avanti, and Hanuman. Inside, Draupadi's screams echoed as the female Raj Ved assisted her in giving birth. The hours seemed to stretch into an eternity until finally, the sound of a baby's cry filled the air.
The Raj Ved emerged, her face serene. "Congratulations, Maharaj. You are blessed with a boy." With that, she left, and everyone turned to Karn, their faces glowing with happiness.
As they were about to enter the chamber, Hanuman raised a hand. "Stop. I think we should let Karn and Draupadi have some time for themselves and their child." The others nodded in agreement and quietly left the hallway.
Karn entered the chamber, his heart swelling with joy at the sight before him. Draupadi sat on the bed, cradling a small bundle in her arms. She looked up and smiled, her eyes filled with love and exhaustion.
Karn approached her, his eyes fixed on the tiny face peeking out from the blanket. The baby had Draupadi's milky white skin and a serene expression. "Priye, today you have made me the happiest man alive," Karn said softly, tears of joy in his eyes.
Draupadi looked up at him, her smile radiant. "No, Arya. Today our son has made us the happiest couple alive."
They both laughed softly, sharing a moment of pure bliss. After a while, Draupadi looked up and asked, "What should we name him?"
Karn pondered for a moment before a smile spread across his face. He stood up and chanted some hymns. Suddenly, the room was filled with a divine light, and Narayan and Laxshmi appeared before them.
Karn turned to Draupadi, his eyes shining. "Draupadi, meet my Matashree and PitaShree."
Draupadi's eyes widened in awe. "You are the son of Narayan?"
Karn smiled sheepishly. "Well, more like Narayan's avatar Ram, but yes, you can say that."
Mata Laxshmi stepped forward, her eyes filled with love as she gazed at Draupadi and the baby. "My daughter-in-law and grandson are the most beautiful pair alive."
Karn pouted playfully. "PitaShree, look, Mata has forgotten me and betrayed me."
Narayan chuckled. "She did nothing wrong."
Karn continued to pout, causing everyone to laugh. Mata Laxshmi then came forward and twisted his ear gently. "Ow, Mata, what is this for?" Karn exclaimed.
Mata Laxshmi smiled. "This is for not bringing my daughter-in-law to me before and forgetting about me."
Karn quickly apologized. "I'm sorry, I'm sorry."
Mata Laxshmi's expression softened. "You called us for a reason. What is it?"
Karn looked at his parents with a tender smile. "I want both of you to name him."
Mata Laxshmi looked at the baby and said, "My grandson reminds me of Arya when he was in his Ram avatar. So, I wish to name him Ram."
Narayan nodded in agreement. "That is exactly what I was thinking."
The family spent the rest of the evening together, their hearts filled with joy and love. As midnight approached, Narayan and Laxshmi took their leave. Karn and Draupadi lay on the bed, with little Ram nestled between them.
Karn looked at Draupadi, his heart overflowing with gratitude. "Priye, our life has definitely taken a good and interesting turn."
Draupadi smiled and replied, "You are right, Arya."
They both drifted into a peaceful sleep, their minds filled with dreams of their future and the joy of their new family. Little Ram, sleeping soundly between them, was the center of their world, a symbol of their enduring love and the promise of a bright future.
This Chapter is so short because next chapter which will be out in few hours is going to be really important.
