What are we

You and Tom have been doing great it's been about three months since y'all started talking and honestly it's going well, the only thing is even though you know he loves you and you love him it hurts that he hasn't made you and him official.

You get a text message on your phone

Tom: be ready in 20, wear something pretty, love you🩷

A smile forms on your face, you get up and walk to your closet and find a dress

You grab a pair of white sandals

Once you've got your  outfit on and hair done you put on some little jewelry and grab your bag, you pull out your phone and you get a text from Tom

Tom:I'm outside

You walk down stairs and make it outside, your eyes get wide when you see what he got you, "hey love, you look beautiful" he say giving you a kiss, he hands you a bouquet of flowers "I got some beautiful flowers for my beautiful girl" he say handing you them "oh my gosh baby, these are so pretty, thank you" you say leaning to kiss his cheek "of course baby's anything for you, now our reservations are in forty minutes so we should go" he says, he walks to the door and opens it for you, you get in and he closes your door and gets in the driver's seat, he lays his hand on your thigh as he drives, god you love when he does that, "so how was your day" he say keeping his eyes on the road "good I didn't do much, got some work done and chores" you say looking at him.

God he was so handsome, the way his hair laid messily but so perfectly at the same time, he had on a white top with three button's undone giving you a peak of his perfect toned body he had it pared with some navy blue pants, you loved him so much, even though he does everything for you and does so much with you it still crosses your mind why he wouldn't just ask the obvious question.

"We're here baby" Tom says making you snap out of your thoughts "wow it's nice here" you say checking out the beautiful scenery. "We'll come on let's go
Inside" he says giving you a smile as he took your hand, y'all walk in to the restaurant and Tom checks y'all in and makes sure the reservation was ready, "okay please follow me" the waiter say as he take us to our table, "it's so nice here" you say smiling looking around you felt like a little kid in a candy store, growing up you didn't get to go to a lot of fancy places like this so it was a first for you.

Tom polls your chair out and you set "thank you" you say giving him a smile "of course love" he says setting in his seat "it's so beautiful in here, I feel alittle under dressed" , he grabs your hand rubbing the top of your hand with his thumb "you look beautiful love" he say "so why did you chose this place out of all places" you say curious, "well I wanted to just show you how much i love you and I thought this place was beautiful and I know how much you've always wanted to come to a fancy place so" he says giving you a smile "I mean I feel so special here, you make me feel so special" you say smiling "that's because you are special to me and I want you to know how much I love you" he say, y'all talk for a little and then order.

"So how's everything been at work" you say taking a bite of your food. Tom works on cars and he does custom work on them, "it's been good" he says, "that's good" you say taking a sip of water "so um I can tell when things are off with you and lately I feel like there's something bothering you and that's also why I took you out, I thought it would make you feel better" he say holding your hand, do I tell him that I feel like we arnt a real couple or do I lie.....

"Nothings bothering me, I'm happy, I have an amazing boyfriend and a great life I have nothing to be sad about" you say giving him a fake smile, he smiles back at you, y'all finish dinner up and leave.
"You wanna go for a walk at the park" he say driving, you love walks at the park or really anything cute and simple "sure" you say, he parks at a park and y'all get out you and him walk down the path, the sunset is coming out and it looks amazing.

Y'all stop at a bench and watch the sunset "hey y/n" Tom say looking at the sky "hmm" you hum he turns to look at you and you do the same "I know what's bothering you" he says you look at him not really knowing what to say "I haven't asked you because I didn't know if you were ready, I know your past relationships were hard and I didn't want to pressure you, but I think it's time that I ask you" he says, he takes a deep breath and speaks again "do you wanna be my girlfriend" he asks holding both your hands now, you felt your heart flutter and tears form in your eyes "yes tom I would love to be your girlfriend" you say smiling, he smiles back at you and lens in, you lean in with him and meet his lips half way.

The kiss was slow and passionate filled with love and affection, you slowly pull back and look into his eyes "I love you" you say looking deep into his brown eyes "I love you to" he says smiling at you, you and him stay like that for a while just enjoying each other's presence "it's getting cold, wanna go back home" he says breaking the silence "sure" you say, he gets up and takes your hand y'all go home and lay with each other for the rest of the night.
