When Sami checked up on me
You blocked her and said,
"I broke up with her. She is not okay."
As if you had the expectation
That I would let you break me twice
Which was bolstered by the way
I told you to clean up your shit
You responded saying,
"I don't want you back",
Which did not at all address
What I was saying about how
You lack empathy and accountability.
I had to do all of this for you.
I had filled my schedule
Planning tattoos, shows, and dates-
I told people we were broken up
Before you decided we were
Because I am not stupid-
It had never felt like we had
Fully gotten back together
Out of the fear you pushed onto me
So how in the world could you
Have possibly been of the mindset
All of my current pain
Is simply because of a boy
When I have been saying
"My issues right now go beyond
Whatever Tucker's deal is"
While you are sitting around
Coming up with reasons
To believe I only want to
Minimize you
When the entire reason we broke up
Was because I had to yank at you
To talk to me about your feelings
Without anything forthcoming
While never considering how
It would not only destroy
The future plans you created
But also
The entirety of how I view
My best friend.
