Winning

Tul woke up Sunday feeling pretty smug.  He had caught Mew checking him out and his boner was kind of obvious.  While Tul couldn't be 100% sure that it was because of him, he was pretty confident.  Tul was not thinking about how good Mew looked with his shirt off or how he had the thought of licking the drop of water running down Mew's chest.

Tul would say that he was in the lead.  Although it was a one-sided competition, he was definitely winning.  He wasn't sure what would constitute victory, but he would know when it happened.

It was Sunday and Mew's schedule was clear for today.  Tul felt he should scale it back today to not arouse suspicion.  He stayed in bed for a couple of hours, scrolling on his phone.  Tul got dressed and headed to the kitchen when he heard Mew moving around in his room.

Even though it would take longer, Tul decided to heat the leftovers on the stove instead of the microwave.  It just tasted better this way.  He turned and watched over his shoulder as Mew shuffled into the kitchen.

"Thanks for making lunch," Mew said as he placed his chin on Tul's shoulder.

"It's just leftovers."

"Still," Mew mumbled as he loosely wrapped his arms around Tul's waist.

Tul felt, what he assumed to be, Mew's morning wood against his ass.  He shook his head as he stirred the food in the pan.  Tul pushed his hips back to dislodge Mew.

"Get the plates, the food is ready."

After cleaning up and getting ready for the day, Tul joined Mew in the living room to build one of the Lego sets.  They were sitting next to each other, their bare knees pressed together.  Tul had caught Mew checking him out when he reached to grab a piece that was far away.

It was nice to know that someone found him attractive.  When he was younger, Tul hated the way he looked, and the incident with Pei brought up those old feelings.  His stay with Mew was helping him in ways he couldn't have imagined.

Tul couldn't help but add an arch to his back as he reached on his hands and knees to grab another piece.

"When is your rut supposed to start?", Mew asked.

Tul dropped the Lego piece from his hand, looking over his shoulder at Mew.

"Wh- what?", Tul stuttered.  "I can't believe I forgot.  We purposely chose the dates of the ceremony and honeymoon to line up with my rut."

Tul scrambled to his feet.  "I wonder why it didn't start yet.  I need to head back to my place to be safe."

"The stress might have delayed it, but I can smell the change in your scent.", Mew responded.  "You don't have to leave.  Are you forgetting that we were roommates?  We've experienced each other's ruts before."

"Right," Tul said slowly.  He took a deep breath, trying to calm down his heart rate.  "I'm going to turn in for the evening", Tul gave a strained smile as he went to the guest room.

He knew it wasn't important, but Tul couldn't help but wonder if Mew's reactions were due to the changes in his scent and not him physically.
