Tul sighed in content as he sunk a little lower in the tub. They had been soaking in the tub for about ten minutes. Mew had insisted on joining Tul after his earlier slip. It wasn't a big deal as they had showered together before and even cleaned puke off each other. Tul turned his head to look at Mew, who was scrolling on his phone.

"Someone's happy to see me,".

Mew's face crinkled in confusion. "What?"

Tul wiggled his hips.

"Please, that has nothing to do with you. It's biology. Any wet, naked man sitting on my lap would get the same reaction."

Tul scoffed.

"I'm serious. I don't think of you that way. To me, you're asexual," Mew said.

Okay, bet Tul thought to himself. He had one week before he had to return to work. He was certain he could get Mew to be attracted to him.

When they were teenagers, they were constantly trying to one up each other. This led to some ridiculous situations and them being scolded. Thinking about the past made Tul realize that he neglected his friendships whenever he was in a relationship. He promised himself to do better next time.

Tul woke up late Saturday morning, feeling giddy. Today was the day he would begin implementing the plan. Well, he doesn't really have a plan besides messing with Mew. Thankfully, his sister had dropped his car off so he was able to buy a couple of items. Mew had left early to shoot a few scenes but should be done by 12. Tul had convinced him to shoot some hoops later that evening.

Tul couldn't remember the last time he felt this excited about something. It was probably when he first started dating Pei, which was years ago. Did he really not have anything exciting happen since then? That's sad. Tul was over that situation. He had awaken feeling at ease and knew that he would be okay.

Honestly, a small part of him felt relieved. It would have been worse if they had gotten married, with Pei feeling the way she did. Tul thinks they would have come to resent each other and probably end up divorced. The situation should have been handled differently, but Tul was no longer angry.
