skipping 3rd practice
They both left for qualifying since they went out after third practice together and headed straight to their motorhomes once arriving at the track, Charles headed to a private area to change so he could look in a mirror. 'im much skinner.. my suit looks baggy..' he thought to himself putting on his fireproofs and suit before putting on his helmet and neck safety heading to his car, he watched as the engineers clipped him in noticing how loose it was. "Want it tightened Charles.?" He asked. "yes please." the Monegasque used his manners, as his mother taught him.
his seatbelt was tight now he could focus without swinging about in his car, he pulled out to set a flying lap going the 2nd fastest behind you guessed it! Max. he was fast. until his teammate took second fastest and Checo took third fastest followed by Lando putting him in fifth he wasnt happy but pushed and not managing anywhere else other than fifth. he got out and headed straight to change out of his sweaty suit and to go to media.
"Charles last race why were you swinging around in your car?" a commentator asked. "oh i forgot to ask my engineers to tighten the seatbelt i was fine though!" the Monegasque laughed it off. after a bunch of questions awnsers given by Carlos, himself, Checo and his teammate they left to go back to their hotel rooms.
arriving with Carlos was a relief he didnt know if he could cope with his rival or crush again tonight. "Carlos im heading to bed!" Charles yelled from the bathroom. "Okay mate sleep well!" Carlos yelled from the lounge. Charles made himself comfy in his bed before falling asleep early for the race.
Carlos then snuck out to see Lando and didnt get back till 1am absolutely delighted with the 3 hours he spent with the British man. getting ready for bed and falling asleep praying Charles will awaken him with breakfast.
this is like a filler before Monza since ill be there! im trying to plan what ill do for the 3k word chapter im so sorry for not uploading ive been up till 7am and wake up at 5pm on R6 or dbd, have a great day/night and hopefully the next chapter is longer!!
