Necropolis - 6,600 years ago (1902)

A war ensues as Necropolis decays in fire, many of its civilians flee in fear with their families and their loved ones while Necropolis' soldiers fight against the countless waves of Guthriks and Bogdire and despite their efforts, they were too much as the soldiers were forced to retreat as their forces were being brutally killed with some being ravenously eaten by the Guthriks.

A Guthrik general known as 'Tawer' pointed his sword at the fleeing residents and shouted, "Feast, my brothers! Feast on their flesh!" The Guthriks and Bogdire charge after the fleeing civilians.

The fleeing civilians were leaving through a giant gate, but unfortunately, it was taking its time in opening, and with the Guthriks coming closer, they believed to be doomed.

At a clock tower, a Necropolis warrior spectates from above. He held a powerful sword as it glowed bright blue. He jumped from the clock tower and using his sword, teleported in the middle where the Guthriks were close to attacking. Teleporting, he caused the Guthriks to fly back, taking some of them down.

Angry, Tawar shouts, "Who dares interrupt my boy's meal?!"

"Me!" Answered the mysterious Necropolis warrior.

Tawar's expression changed upon seeing who he was facing. "Ah nah! It can't be you!" Frightened, he moved back and pushed some of his Guthriks, shouting "Take care of this wretched being!" Tawar ran away.

The gates finally opened, and people began fleeing; the soldiers tried to stay to fight with the mysterious warrior, but he stopped them, saying, "Do not risk your lives for mine... They need you more than me... GO!" The soldiers try to try to stay, but he shouts, "That's an order!" Reluctant, they obeyed and fled. They closed the door behind the mysterious warrior.

The Guthriks and the Bogdire began charging towards the mystery warrior, each of them ravenous after the other but despite this, they were no match as the mystery warrior slain each of them, their thick black blood spilling uncontrollably.

"Oyu liwl nowk uret earf!" Splurted one of the dying Bogdire in its Bogdynan language.

The warrior slayed the dying Bogdire and went after the general. After a few minutes of searching, he finds the general but also finds an evil warrior bearing a small hammer named 'Lyz'.

"Well, well, well!" Said Lyz with an evil grin on his face. "To think that this wouldn't be the best time."

"Believe me you conjurer of lies, your reign ends here." Said the mystery warrior, incredibly bold.

"I'm afraid this is where WE... shall unite, as brothers." Lyz snaps his fingers and two of his cursed knights drag out a woman who was holding a child in his hand. The mystery warrior's eyes began to grow small, as it was his wife, Ariel and his son that was in front of him. He tried to move, but Lyz placed his sword on Ariel's neck. "Ah, ah, ah! I don't think so, buddy! You're in my domain now... and you'll play nice... unless you wish for your precious wife to meet my blade."

Ariel shouted "Don't listen to him! Save your..." but before she could continue, she was attacked by the knights, forcing her to kneel.

"Come on, brother! You can save her and your precious son... All I ask is for you to join me." Said Lyz.

The warrior was unsure what he should do; he couldn't allow his wife and son to die, but he couldn't allow himself to cause pain and suffering for others. He took a deep sigh and answered "Very well..."

Lyz smiled maliciously but Ariel refused to allow it. She runs to her husband, but one of the Kraveyans accidentally shoots one of their arrows into her shoulder.

"Ariel!" Shouted the warrior as he ran to his wife, but the remaining Kraveyans shot their arrows mercilessly at the warrior; although a dozen were lodged into his back, he still stood, showing that he wasn't that easy to defeat. He ran to his wife, hugging her deeply.

He looked at Lyz and shouted, "Consider the deal WITHDRAWN!!!" He used his sword to blind everyone and ran off with his wife.
Lyz's sight quickly returned, and he immediately threw one of his knight's daggers into Ariel's back, paralysing her. The warrior carried his wife and ran off with every ounce of his stamina.

Lyz roared and shouted, "AFTER YOU USELESS SHRAKS!" He summoned a group of Guthriks and they went after them.
The warrior was able to find somewhere to hide. He put his wife down on the ground and hastily ripped out the arrows, ignoring his pain. He gently took the dagger out of Ariel's back and threw it along with the arrows, covered in their blood.

He began expressing his regrets to his wife "Ariel... I'm sorry, this is all my fault... I should have... I should have listened to you..." Ariel placed her finger on her husband's lips.

"Do not be sorry my love... All that matters, is that you're by my side." Said Ariel, she gently hugged her husband and closed her eyes. The warrior shed a tear, tightly hugging his wife as it was their last moment alive. "I'll see you on the other side..." saying that, Ariel's body began to grow cold.

The warrior stood up and laid his wife on the ground. He kissed her on her lips and left the hiding spot. The arrow and the dagger were suddenly consumed by the soil as well as Ariel's body.

The warrior looked at the powerful sword, and he knelt at the soil; he said, "Please... Tell me there will be hope."

Suddenly, two vine-like tentacles appeared from the soil; they extended until they could reach the warrior; they planted themselves on the side of his head as if they were transmitting something to him. His eyes glowed green; something was happening; tears began to flow down his face, and then a smile.

"I see." He said. He placed the sword on the ground, and the two vines detach themselves off the warrior, taking the sword underground, but to where, who knows.

The warrior was alone. He took out his dagger, but then Guthriks found him, and they dragged him back to Lyz.

"Where's the wife?" Said Lyz. They shrugged their shoulders, implying they did not know where she was. Angry, Lyz killed them.  "Where were we? Ah yes, you! I tried to be friendly brother... but you were too proud... and now, I'll take your sword." Lyz looks for the sword but it is gone. "Where's the sword?" Said Lyz in a calm manner, no response from the warrior "Where's the sword?" He was growing agitated. "Where's the sword!?" Angrily he shouted. The warrior began to laugh maniacally, irritating Lyz. "Oh, you think it's funny, do you?!" Shouted Lyz. "Fine, have it your way. I guess I'll have to know... through your mind."

Lyz's hands glow blue, and he is about to place his glowing hand on the warrior's face, but the warrior takes out his dagger and stabs himself in the heart. Lyz's hands touch the warrior's face, and nothing happens, angering Lyz even more. The warrior laughs even more as he begins coughing out blood. He dropped to the floor as the world around him became blurry. He finally succumbed to the wounds inflicted on his body and died.

Suddenly an explosional flash occurred around the now deceased warrior, nearly decimating everything in its sight. After the smoke cleared, Lyz remained unfazed and untouched while the warriors, as well as the Bogdires, Guthriks and Kraveyans, left only a crumbled city.

Lyz let out a monstrous roar. The roar grew stronger and stronger until...A boy wakes up from a bad nightmare, breathing heavily.
