Chapter 3

Dreampaw her sister Midnightpaw and their mentors Blazefur and cloverleaf were walking back to camp it was dark by then with the moonlit sky shining down on them. "tomorrow we're going to explore the territories" Cloverleaf explained "we are supposed to do that first day being a apprentice BUT Squirrelstar told us to train battle because Shadeclan was being hostile and wanted you to be able to defend yourselves if they ambushed the camp" Blazefur added as they entered the camp. "You two better go get some sleep big day tomorrow." "Ok!" Dreampaw and Midnightpaw said as they walked away. Dreampaw and Midnightpaw settled down in their nests in the apprentices den Spikepaw and Claypaw were already sleeping so they were careful not to wake them.     

Dreampaw settled in her nest and drifted off to sleep she awoke in a shimmering forest with see thru foxes eating prey hunting sleeping then a tortoiseshell she-fox "hello there Dreampaw my name is Riverspark you may have heard of me in nursery tales I was Sparkleclan's medicine fox when the great Dawnstar was leader it was way before your time back then our clan was called Lightclan shadeclan was Darkclan lakeclan was Oceanclan and breezeclan was Treeclan but after the terrible journey from the old home they lost their homes lost kin so they decided that they needed to change the clan names but enough talking now there's something I need to tell you there is a prophecy it' about you and Midnightpaw that was made long ago it was given to Dawnstar of Lightclan  its says: 5 generations will pass 5 generations of your blood and 3 shall be born with powers unknown they will rise from the shadows on a starless night trust them for they are the clans only hope for survival as darkness rises." "This is your fate"said Riverspark "you and your sisters will save the clans Dreampaw was shocked and just stood there for a while. But I only have one sister how can we be three? That's for you to find out little one I must leave you for now" Riverspark said. Then she woke up in her nest to Midnightpaw sitting there licking her paw. Your finally awake she exclaimed you were kicking me and muttering in your sleep she said . "umm bad dream said dreampaw" How ironic" Retorted Midnightpaw.

Dreampaw brushed off her dream for now as she and Midnightpaw headed up the slope to go tore the territories .This is the shadeclan border said Blazefur when they had walked for a long time can we go home now Midnightpaw whined. It was getting dark and you could already see some of the stars of silverpelt we were already going home retorted Cloverfoot. As they entered the camp shorttail and Mousefoot were sharing a vole while Spikepaw and Claypaw play fought outside the apprentices den as they walked away Dreampaw whispered into Midnightpaws ear "I need to talk to you " ok said Midnightpaw "ok then what do you want?" "no not here after everybody goes to sleep well sneak out of camp and talk" "ok fine" after everyone was asleep they snuck out "ok WHAT WAS SOOOOO IMPORTANT THAT WE HAD TO COME ALL THE WAY OUT HERE!" Midnightpaw exclaimed" "I'll tell you once we get to the lake" as they neared the lake midnightpaw asked: ok now what?" I wanna tell you about a dream I had" "A DREAM WE CAME ALL THE WAY OUT HERE FOR A DREAM!?" "yes, now calm down so I can talk to you" Midnightpaw sighed "ok fine tell me" Dreampaw was halfway through explaining when they heard something Dreampaw gasped "Whos there?" A mysterious figure stepped out from the shadows...
