Warriors:A Tale Of Three.

Chapter 6

i own all the characters and the pool of possibilities  up to the start of the gathering was done before summer so anything else after this chapter might take awhile and i know there is skyclan but i dont feel like writing a fith clan so bear with me

Three moons have passed since Midnightpaw had brought her and Stormpaw,then Stormkit prey in the medicine den . Dreampaw lay basking in the sun on one of the ledges above the nursery she and Stormpaw found this spot the day after they Midnightpaw, Dreampaw and Stormkit then explained everything to their mother and Squirrelstar. Squirrelstar quickly arranged her apprentice ceremony and made the deputy Frostbite her mentor "She needs special treatment while training since she missed 2 moons of training" Squirrelstar had said to Frostbite during her ceremony. Now it was sundown Dreampaw had just shared a shrew with Stormpaw and Midnightpaw after a long day of training.  

Her and Midnightpaw went to sleep at moonhigh Stormpaw had already went to sleep. They settled into their nest of moss and were careful not to wake Claypaw and Spikepaw. Her and Spikepaw had become good friends in the three moons Dreampaw and her sister had been training. "Goodnight" said Midnightpaw "goodnight" Dreampaw closed her eyes and drifted off to sleep. She awoke once again in the shimmering forest, Lunarclan's territory. The grass was glittering with dew, cats were hunting everywhere. Dreampaw spotted Sparkleclan's, then Thunderclan's old leader, Bluestar, sharing a mouse with her old deputy and niece, Whitestorm, Riverspark walked up from behind her "Hello" she said "Follow me." Riverspark lead her to a small pitch black pool, "what's this?" Dreampaw asked. "This is the pool of possibilities" Riverspark answered "I am going to show you something" "do as I do" and she crouched down in front of the pool of possibilities took a small drink from it and closed her eyes. Dreampaw,curiously crouched beside the pool took a small drink and closed her eyes. Dreampaw opened her eyes in a small cave-like place in which she could not see anything but the white tip of Riverspark's tail and her glowing yellow eyes,she looked down and noticed that she could also see her own white paw. around her were thick spiderweb-like strings that were glowing a sort of pale yellow. "These are all the possibilities past, present and future, come with me" Dreampaw followed Riverspark to a small row of strings in the very back of the cave-like place, unlike the others these strings were glowing a pale green with words covering over them that spelled out "the three" "Here ae all the possibilities for you future" Riverspark said "you, unlike you sisters have the choice of two possible paths, the one of a medicine cat and one of a warrior,and you must choose when the time comes but for now we are running out of time so goodbye Dreampaw" Dreampaw opened her eyes and found herself in the apprentices den she got up and walked out of the den, shortly after her, Dreampaw's sisters Midnightpaw and Stormpaw walked out of the den swell, Dreampaw and Stormpaw Walked over to the sisters favorite eating spot under a large tree at the very edge of the gouge where they're clan had made their camp oh so long ago,as the queens in the nursery used to tell them, the legendary Firestars daughter Squirrelflight,had found it by falling into it. Midnightpaw returned from the fresh kill pile in the middle of camp with a mouse and a very fat vole,she joined her sisters under the big oak tree to eat. "Cloverleaf told me we're going to are first gathering today" Midnightpaw mentioned. "Really"? Stormpaw said excitedly "really" Midnightpaw answered Dreampaw was really excited,they had missed they're first gathering 3 moons ago because Shadeclan was being hostile over borders and the last 2 moons was leafbare and it was far too cold to leave camp,two of Shorttail's kits Leafkit and Turtlekit died due to the cold. The three sisters finished their food they lay on rock under the tree waiting for there mentors to wake up and take them training,Dreampaw was really good at hunting but she was not so great at fighting she found it frustrating. Cloverleaf,Blazefur,and the deputy,Stormpaw's mentor emerged from the warriors den and walked up to the three sisters "good morning you three" Cloverleaf said as Blazefur and Frostbite walked up from behind her Blazefur said: "Today we will be talking to you about the importance of gatherings"

"Awwwwwwww whyyyyyyy" Stormpaw complained "because it's important and you need to know why we have to have a gathering every full moon" Cloverleaf retorted. "And,because you've missed you first two gatherings" Frostbite said calmly. "So" Blazefur said breaking the tension "what do you now about gatherings?" "ooo ooo I know" Dreampaw said excitedly, "at every full moon all four of the clans travel to a mini island that's close to the lake, they walk across a tree-bridge made from a fallen tree, the leaders share news about what's going on in their clans, like the naming of new warriors and apprentices!" Dreampaw finished. "Very good Dreampaw" Frostbite said, "that about sums it up anyway, we were going to take you three hunting but Spikepaw and Claypaw are doing their warriors assessment today, so let's take you on patrols". Speaking of which", Frostbite added as he turned his head to watch Sparkfire and Hollywhisker emerge from the warriors den, "I better start organizing them and walked away. "Let's go see if we can join a border patrol, Cloverleaf said and signaled with her tail for them to follow her as she walked away and Blazefur followed..

It was Sundown and the sky was beautiful as the stars of silverpelt were beginning to shine, The foxes that were chosen to go to the Gathering were crowding around the slope to exit camp as they waited for Squirrelstar to come out of his den to lead them down to the island, Squirrelstar joined them shortly after and they walked down into the forest soon the clan was picking up the pace and soon Dreampaw,Midnightpaw and Stormpaw were running to keep up, eventually they reached an island,they formed a line and one by one walked on the tree bridge and onto the island Dreampaw struggled but got safely to the island, Midnightpaw crossed with ease, but Stormpaw lost her balance and fell into the body of water below, the water is shallow so she was able to swim back to shore but Stormpaw's pelt clung to her body, and soaking wet she crossed the tree bridge on to the island grumpily pushed her way between her sisters who were dying of laughter ,cats were everywhere, Dreampaw smelled the disgusting stench of shadeclan, the fishy smell of Lakeclan,and the Strong smell of rabbit from Breezeclan. Some she-cats were standing in a corner gossiping, and some apprentices were seeing who could stand on two paws the longest. At the very edge of the clearing, the leaders Squirrelstar,   Nightstar,Wishstar,and Coralstar were greeting each other.  "Hurry up,Dreampaw!" Blazefur called out. "Coming!!!!!!" Dreampaw shouted while running up to her mentor. " Shhh Dreampaw! not so loud!you'll scare off all the prey from here to Horse-place" Stormpaw said from behind her."Oh look!."Midnightpaw said excitedly "Its starting!".   As all Four of the leaders bunched up their legs and eached jumped to a branch on the great oak { correct me if thats not the name for it i forgot}  "Greetings,cats of all clans" Wishstar said

"And may Starclan light our paths" {I changed it from Lunarclan back to Starclan,deal with it}  Squirrelstar said,ending the gathering "Sparkleclan" Squirrelstar beckoned his clan with a wave of his tail and Dreampaw followed as her and her clan walked into the forest and in the derection of their camp.
