When the crew had seen the draft for the Princess Tower Hotel, they were stunned to see the whole picture of what was not there and realized that their former boss had been using cheap material and did not pay them a fair price for the work they did. Treyce seeing that over half of his employees working with Neiah Construction became very vindictive thinking 'Just wait I can really cause you the heartache and to loose everything and be bankrupt for not having what you need for rebuilding' Treyce heading into the hardware store asked for the owner who was his best friend.
"Where is Mike Rogenis at today" Treyce asking calmly.
"I'm here today in the back you butt-head" Mike said with laughter in his voice.
"Can you help me out with something? There's a new construction company in town and half of my employees have quit my company and went to work for that Neiah construction here in town, I need you to sell them the cheapest material for the highest price material while they are rebuilding the Princess Tower Hotel. I'll get you some kick back for doing that. What you say?" Treyce voice was dripping with the venom of jealousy.
"Man, I could do that for you. But they haven't set foot in my store to buy anything not even a tin penny nail. Other that I would help you. You say it's the Neiah Construction Company that is rebuilding the Princess Tower Hotel? My cousin Kelby Neiah Callsburg-Dakster is the CEO of that company, Her dad is my uncle so they don't buy from family at all they use bigger places like the hometown lumber and hardware company and have it shipped to site for use man they have benefits that support the people that work for them even if they get injured on the job, they help with retraining them in another line of work or turn them into teachers that do on the job training with others they hire." Mike said with a proud voice, "I wish I knew how that system works I would do that here for my people as well."
Donald Rogenis walks up to his brother saying "I see you have made it through the storm that took out the town. What's this creep doing here? Is he trying to cause trouble for us or our cousin if so steer clear, if Kelby gets hurt in any way shape or form I will come for you both."
"Why what is going on with Kelby?" Mike asks shockingly looking at his brother Donald.
"She is off limits to any business here in town, you know this. Callsburg-Dakster is the reason Ethan pulls no punches when it comes to her. He will be sure this town goes bankrupt for sure and relocate the businesses that have honest integrity towards Kelby and the Neiah Construction team here in town. So be for warned little brother." Donald said in his authoritative tone of voice making Mike start to sweat.
Mike nodded his head "I won't be bothering her or her crew at all."
Treyce in a mocking "What is she the queen mother? Why should anyone care she is just here to rebuild the Princess Towers Elevators, Now she is rebuilding the whole Princess Tower Hotel. So what"
Treyce being grabbed up by the scruff of his collar by Donald saying in a deep dark tone "Especially you unless you want to disappear permanently from this town. You should keep to yourself you slime-ball. Well I guess there's you parole officer coming to look for you now"
Treyce looking toward the door seeing the officer gulps and takes the nails that he came for to repair the wall bridge on the playground and left without another word. Stopping at the door to hand the receipt to the officer to prove he did pick up the item in question he had to open the bag for him to see the item that matched the receipt. 'Maggie, I hope that your sister took the duty for the city parks and playground and you are in the office today' Treyce was thinking how great it would be if she was the CEO of Sharm's conglomerate enterprises.
Marleena was in the office going over the contracts with Jubal Corporation and rewrote the contract to fit the price that Talley Jubalin wanted to pay the draft design was shorten to accommodate a smaller space even with the safety features for all of the building now since the tornado last week she added extra safety for that, surely that will work. Cera took the new contract over to the Jubal Corporation to be given to Mr. Talley to look over and sign. Cera returned to the office after dropping off the contract and went to see Marleena to get her order for lunch.
"Do you want you usual chicken strips and fries for lunch?" Cera asked.
"No, I'm going to get a salad and fresh fruit and take it over to Kelby at the Princess Tower site and make sure she eats, you know the tiny babies have to eat and I'm sure she did not pack anything." Marleena spoke wistfully wishing it was her who was having the babies.
"Oh wow you mean that the CEO of Neiah Construction is here and is pregnant as well" Cera sounding excited as if it were her boss that found out about a new arrival, "Okay, then I'll go with you to help."
When they arrived with food at the construction site Marleena and Cera immediately found the foreman's trailer office for the site and saw Kelby sitting at the desk outside over looking the plans that she had weighted down and was going over the schematics for safety for the first six floors to be finished this week along with the elevator that would go for eight floors.
"Are you hungry? I know the babies are, here is a salad with tuna and some fresh fruit for you to snack on." Marleena said in a motherly tone catching Kelby off guard.
"Oh wow thank you, I usually forget to eat until I get home for the evening, and yes I am starving" replied Kelby with an appreciated voice.
Cera introduced herself as the personal assistant of Marleena in the office and if she needed anything she could help as well.
