Chapter 205 - Fly like a bird

Once they reached home, Jennie hurriedly went into the bathroom to have a quick shower. She was expecting it would be another steamy night just like it happened when she was in Taehyung's home, but to Jennie's vex, her shark week arrived.

"Argh!" Jennie stomped on the floor in a fit. "Why did you come two days early. I shouldn't have drunk pineapple juices continuously."

Taking a hot shower to ease the cramps, she strolled out of the bathroom. "I hate you, mother nature."

"Why do you hate mother nature?" Taehyung asked as he entered the bedroom with hot water. Handing her a bottle, he asked again. "What happened? You were fine before."

"Because mother nature is bipolar. Once she turns to spring, another time she turns into winter, and then she goes back to spring. I wish she would take her_"

"Are you on period?" Taehyung interrupted. He has put her period in his calendar to track and she still has two days but it there are times, it turns early. He has been counting her mood swings for the past two days and they are not only swinging. They are bouncing back, fluctuating, oscillating. He planned to devour her today but it backfired.

Jennie nodded and approached him with a pout. "I am not comfortable tod_"

"Jennie!" Taehyung stopped her in the mid-sentence. He lifted her and carried her to the bed. "I am not a sick pervert to think of that every time."

He whispered. "Go to sleep, sweetheart."

"Where are you going?" Jennie screamed as she watched him leave the room.

"I will be back in a minute." He said without turning back.

He quickly entered the bedroom with a heating pad and put it on her abdomen to ease her cramps. " Do you want to be alone?" He asked.

"No. I want to be with you." She moved towards him and snuggled closer. "I saw a new brand of tampons in the bathroom. Did you stash it on the counter?"

"I have done some research and heard it's a very good brand. Try it for a month. If you don't like it, you can go back to the previous one." He whispered pulling a blanket on her.

Jennie hummed in reply. She heard her employees complain about their boyfriends and husbands calling them crazy about their behavior during their periods. Even she is a lot crazy. But Taehyung never blames her irritation and let her vent on him. He even asks if she wants to talk about what she is going through. No one can be compared to him. "You are the most amazing man ever, Taehyung." She muttered.

"Can you repeat it, Jennie?" He grabbed the mobile and turned on the voice recorder.

"Don't think I am not aware of your tricks." Jennie snatched his mobile and turned off the recording. She was sure he is recording to send it to Francy. "You are behaving like a kid, Taehyung."

"He started first." He grumbled. If not he has provoked him today, he wouldn't have thought of that idea.

"He is a high school child and you are one preschool kid." She muttered.

"He has_"

"I am sleepy and I don't have the energy to listen to the fights between you two" She muttered and closed her eyes. Like kids both call and complain about each other every day. Initially, she listened and pacified them but later she got tired and ignored them.

Once Jennie was asleep, Taehyung intended to do some work on the file Francis has sent but he erased the idea. He has to be with Jennie. He pulled the blanket up to her chin and slipped into it.

The next day morning, Jennie got up a little late due to exhaustion from the party. Getting fresh, she strolled into the kitchen. A note was stuck on the kitchen countertop. Guessing that Jennie doesn't understand his handwriting, Taehyung has printed the note.

"He is such a cutie." Jennie giggled. "I have the best babylicious in the world."

Jennie heated the breakfast and switched on the TV to watch the stocks. It has become a part of her daily routine from the time she knows Taehyung and checks his company's position. But today, she was surprised to see the stocks of Galore jewels went down and the demand has drastically fallen over a single day.

"Is it my Francy?" Jennie pondered and shook her head. "Just for trying to slap, did he has to go far?" She chuckled and began eating the food. Once she was done with her breakfast, she went back to sleep. She doesn't feel like doing anything except sleep while she is on period.

Tzuyu got down from the cab in a hurry since her car had a sudden break down while coming to the office. Not to trouble Taehyung, she booked a cab and reached the office hastily.

"You seem to be in a hurry, twiggy?"

While Tzuyu was about to walk, she heard a voice, a very familiar voice. "Kai!" Tzuyu whispered, she did not turn around to see the person because only one person calls her with the nickname Twiggy.

"You still remember me?" Kai spoke up and approached her closing their distance.

Tzuyu turned around and gazed at the person. He has reduced a lot of weight and the usual glow she used to see him back then has taken off. "How are you?"

"I am fine, twiggy." With a smile, he ruffled her hair.

"Stop calling me twiggy." She pouted and hit his abdomen. "I am naturally skinny." She chuckled. It was her nickname named by Kai. He calls her twiggy because she is skinny.

"Skinny people are easier to kidnap." He said, pulling out chocolate from his pocket.

"Very funny joke." Tzuyu grabbed the chocolate and gobbled it up in one go. "You still remember?"

"I never forgot." He said. Once Tzuyu missed the track of her path to the class and started crying screaming Taehyung's name but there was no trace of him. At that time, a boy happens to be around and he consoled her. Later she got to know his name was Kai. But Tzuyu did not stop crying on that day. Only when he gave her chocolate, she forgot everything and even became happy. Her smile moved him and he wanted to see that on her face always. From then on, he would always keep chocolate in his pocket to give her.

"Are you busy?" Kai asked getting out of the childhood memory.

"Busy is a myth," Tzuyu winked. She is a lot busy today and Taehyung would explode if she is late but it's been a long time, she has met Kai. I will give some kind of excuse after I go to the office.

"Let's go then. It's been a long time we had talked." Happily, Kai guided her to the car to take her to a restaurant. Just seeing Tzuyu's face used to make him happy from the school. He has a special place in his heart which he can't describe the relationship.

"So, how is life going?" Tzuyu started and hesitantly spoke up. "I heard you are getting married." She is not aware of his personal life but she could see Kai is not willing to get tied up.

"I don't have control over my life, Tzuyu." He said, his gaze moved to a distance where a bird was sitting on a tree. He wished to fly like a bird freely but his legs are tied up.

"Don't let anyone control your life." She said holding his hand. His family had turned him into a puppet for business. Kai loved music and he was the best as far as Tzuyu has seen but he left it with her mom's constant brainwash to take up the family business. "Chose your life. I wish you would become a rockstar one day."

"Do you think I can succeed?" He asked genuinely. When he looks back to his past there is only one thing that made him happy. His love for music. But his mom would beat him if he ever practiced. She wants him to learn the business and help the family.

"Of course. You have a unique music talent but you are wasting it." Tzuyu said.

"Since you are so good in business, I will make you the CEO of my company. I can happily pursue my career." He beamed.

"Taehyung will come for my life," Tzuyu instantly cursed at herself for bringing the topic of Taehyung. Will he get angry for mentioning his name again?
