Freeing himself from the guests, Jin escaped for a while to see his daughter. He didn't expect he would get a shock of life seeing Cutie in an adorable princess-style dress. "My Savny is so lovely today." Lifting her, Jin kissed her cheek lovingly.
"Thank you, dad." Cutie giggled.
"I can't believe she has turned five, Jin," Irene said, wiping her happy tears.
"Thanks for giving such a beautiful daughter." Jin's happiness knew no bounds today. He has built a happy family of three.
"Well, don't forget you contributed your s.p.e.r.m." She muttered in a low voice.
"I have lots of_"
"Alright, Mr. Lee." Irene hushed him. "Let's go. We are getting late for the party."
Jin grinned nodding his head and stepped out of the room along with Irene carrying Cutie in his arms.
"I think she forgot about him," Jin whispered.
"I hope she doesn't create a ruckus after seeing him," Irene muttered smiling at the guests.
"Happy birthday Savny Lee!"
"Happy birthday to the bullying Cutie!"
"Happy birthday, bully girl."
Once they reached the table, Cutie's neighbor friends appeared in front of her wishing her a happy birthday. Of course, even all the guests surrounded her to greet the adorable little Savny. But Cutie's attention was solely on the gifts. Seeing the gifts that were piled up on the table, Cutie's eyes twinkled. She has planned to bunk the school tomorrow at any cost and unwrap the gifts.
The kids licked their lips waiting to taste the mouth-watering cream as the candles were put in.
"Wow! Yum yum, cake." A little boy screamed.
"Blow the candles fast, Savny." A kid named Lisa said in excitement. "I want to eat the ceam."
Claps blasted in the air when Cutie blew the candles. Jin and Irene held Cutie's hand and helped her in cutting the cake. The guests came forward helping themselves with a cake while wishing her a happy birthday.
"Happy birthday Tootie." Jennie pulled the cake piece and put it into Cutie's mouth.
"Thank you nini." Cutie giggled puffing her cheeks while eating the cake.
"Where is Taehyung?" Irene asked staring at the crowd but she couldn't see the figure.
"He got an urgent call. He will be back in a while."
When Taehyung did not appear for a long time, Jennie got panicked. What's taking him so long? She searched for him and found him standing in the garden staring at the sky as if he was in deep thought.
"Is something bothering you?" Jennie asked encasing her arms around his waist from behind.
Taehyung got surprised at how quick Jennie is in finding his whereabouts. He got a call from Nick about the people he met at the business events and time passed as he was on it. Clasping her arms with his, he said. "As long as you are with me, nothing matters."
Laying her head on his back, she mumbled. "You are tied to Jennie forever."
"Eternally." He muttered. "Did the celebration ended?"
"Yeah. You did not even wish her."
"Let's go then." Taehyung and Jennie hand in hand went to talk with the birthday girl. While Cutie was playing with Jungkook, her gaze unconsciously shifted to Jennie and Taehyung, and all of a sudden, her expression darkened as if her heart broke.
