Part 6

Swara and Sanskaar come for the marriage rituals.

They both sit in the mandap and the marriage rituals begin. It was time for kanyadaan, Shekhar turned his head away and Swara says my mother would do it as she was with me and protected me from the world when it should have been someone else. But that man was a spineless creature who is his parent's puppet.

Kanyadaan happened, it was time for the pheras. Swara stood up with the help of Sanskaar.

Swara's family was smiling seeing this and were feeling happy.

Sanskaar tied the mangalsutra when he had gotten for Kavitha on Swara's neck and filled her maang with sindoor. Panditji announced them as husband and wife.

There were mixed reactions to their marriage. No one knew what to say. Sanskaar says to Swara's family if they can pack Swara's belongings. They gave blessings to both of them and went to pack.

Shekhar went to Swara and said that marrying him you have proved that you are not Ragini's well-wisher. I am ashamed to be your father. From now on we hold no relationship with you. And thanks to you mine and Sharmishtha's relation is over. Swara retorted back and said that you are ashamed to be my father, I am infact ashamed to be a daughter of such a coward and brainless man who believes his one daughter blindly and refuses to give the benefit of doubt to his other daughter.

You are right from now on we don't hold any relationship but it's not because of me but because of Ragini. Mark my words when truth comes out you won't be able to look at us in the eyes and regret every word you have said.

She went to Durgaprasad ji and said that today I understand why Sanskaar thought the you were behind Kavita's death. For you, your pride and reputation comes first even before the happiness of your loved ones. That's why you are again separating a mother from her son. A father who always listens to you, stood by your side from his son. Yes, he is angry but I can see that he doesn't want to part ways with his son. But you cannot see that because you only see your prestige. Congratulations on getting a marwari daughter-in-law. But a day would come where you will regret making her a part of your family.

I Swara Sanskaar Maheshwari announce to the whole Baadi that you all will regret bad mouthing me, my mother, Dida, my brother and their upbringing. From now on, if any of you ever try to insult me or my family you will see the worst of me. Mind it.

And you Ragini and Laksh you both are made for each other. An evil snake with her coward and spineless husband.

I don't want to talk to you Laksh, you lost that right when you married Ragini instead of finding me.

Let's go Sanskaar. Maa, Dida and Subhan bhaiya must be waiting for us.

Uttara says Sanskaar bhaiya mein baaki Ki rasmon ke liye jaati hoon. Aakhir Swara bhabhi ka grahpravesh BHI toh Karna Hai.

Sanskaar says theek Hai Uttara.

Uttara leaves and says to Sujata that she will come home after doing the rest of the rituals at Sanskaar's house.

Swara and Sanskaar go inside the Bose house, Sanskaar supporting Swara as she can't walk properly.

Seeing this Laksh was getting jealous. Durgaprasad ji announced that they should do the bidaai and go to Maheshwari mansion. Shekhar came to Bose house as if he owned it and said to Sharmishtha to come for Ragini's bidaai as she wants her there. Sharmishtha sternly said that she won't come and asks him not to enter Bose house again. She throws him out the house, the entire baadi sees it, he felt humiliated and insulted. In anger went towards the Ragini and said not wait for them as they never considered Ragini as their own. Ragini cries and tried to show herself as good by saying not to say this. One day they would realise their mistake and come to us.

Ragini's bidaai is done and she is in the car with Laksh and rest of the Maheshwaris also leave to do the next rituals.

On the other side, Sharmishtha, Subhan and Dida were doing Swara's bidaai. Both Swara and Sanskaar take blessings from them and Dida said that they are family now, so call them Subhan, Dida and ma.

In the car, Swara was aimlessly looking outside the window and Sanskaar was watching her while driving thinking how much hurt she is.

He asks her whether she will not ask where he is taking her to which she replies she trusts him.
