Part 16

At Gadodia house

Laksh come with Shekhar and make her understand that he is not in love with Swara. He wants to move forward with her. Ragini is happy hearing that and comes with Laksh to Maheshwari mansion. But before that she wants to talk to Sharmistha ma about the divorce. She doesn't want her parents to separate because of Swara's mistake.

Laksh says you are so good. Even after everything you still think about them.

Ragini goes to Bose house. A neighbour sees her going to Bose house.

At Bose house

Ragini knocks the door. Subhan opens the door and says what do you want now?

Dida comes and says destroying my daughter and granddaughter's life enough that you have come here again.

Ragini says she wants to talk to Sharmistha ma.

Sharmistha hears this and comes and says to Dida and Subhan let her in.and asks Subhan and Dida to leave as Ragini wanted to talk to her alone.

Ragini says please don't divorce papa, I don't want to lose the only mother I have known.

Sharmistha says it's because of your deeds and don't try to play innocent girl role now. Here we all know who you truly are. So no need to pretend.

Sharmistha said all this having her back towards Ragini. She didn't see that Ragini mixed the same drug which Sanskaar and Ragini used to give Swara.

Ragini cries and says can you last time drink water from my hands? I will cherish this mother-daughter moment forever.

Sharmistha didn't know what to say. She didn't think anything wrong would happen so she said yes. Ragini smirks internally and makes Sharmistha drink the water filled with drugs.

Sharmistha immediately lost her senses and Ragini said to strangle her and say I will kill you.

Sharmistha did what Ragini said. Ragini started to shout for her papa, dada ji, dadi ma and Laksh ji. They came and were shocked to see the scenario. Dida and Subhan also come and they were shocked as well.

The baadi people gathered listening the shouts of Ragini and came to see the commotion. Shekhar and Laksh were able to separate the two.

Subhan and Dida went to Sharmistha to see if she was okay or not but she wasn't responding.

Shekhar started accusing Sharmistha for trying to kill his daughter Ragini.

Laksh says I will call the police.

Subhan was with his mother while Dida calls Swara and tells her everything. Swara is shocked and tells her that she and Sanskaar would reach Baadi immediately.

Sanskaar asks Swara what happened?

Swara tells him what Dida tells her. They immediately leave for baadi.

Majority of the Baadi people were badmouthing the entire Bose family.

Police comes to arrest Sharmistha. Subhan and Dida tries to talk to the police so that they don't arrest Sharmistha

Swasan comes and Swara says to the police that you cannot arrest my mother.

Police says what Shekhar and Laksh have told them.

Swara boldly replies no, a woman cannot be arrested after sunset generally 6 pm and before sunrise generally 6 am even if a woman police officer is present. If police needs to arrest a woman at night, they need an arrest warrant from the magistrate. And it's already 9 pm

Sanskaar says do you have the arrest warrant?

Police says no. But she will be arrested once it's morning.

Subhan says that's our problem. We will sort it out. You will get the bail papers at your desk.

Swara says but before you go I want to do a medical test of my mother in your presence at the hospital. See she is not responding at all even now, just staring blankly.

Ragini gets tensed that they might find drugs in her blood and her plan would backfire. Ragini cries and says why would I lie about this? Papa Laksh ji see what this Swara is saying.

Subhan says court doesn't listen to one side of the story and gives punishment. It listens to both sides and doesn't blindly believes someone just because he/she looks innocent and cries.

Police says Subhan is right and they leave with Sharmistha and Swasan to the hospital.

Subhan and Dida stayed at home but Dida goes to Ragini and slaps her hard. She says God would punish her badly for her every bad deed. I curse you Ragini that you will never be happy with Laksh.

Shekhar and Laksh tries to say something but Dida shows them her hand and Subhan says chaliye Dida. Inse baat karke apna mood kharab mat kijiye.

Subhan and Dida goes inside their house.

Laksh and Ragini bid goodbye to Gadodia's and went to Maheshwari mansion.

At Maheshwari mansion

Everyone were in the living room and the environment was quite tensed as their daughter-in-law left the house because her husband wasn't over his past love.

Raglak comes and everyone goes to them except Sujata and Uttara.

They see markings on Ragini's neck and ask what happened. Laksh tell them everything.

Sujata immediately calls Sanskaar and leaves with Uttara to talk to him.

Everyone is shocked that Sharmistha ji tried to kill Ragini.

Annapoorna asks Laksh to take Ragini to their room and take some rest. It has been a hectic night. Everyone else also goes to their rooms.

At the hospital

Doctor says Sharmistha ji's medical examination has been done and reports would be ready by tomorrow.

Police also waited at the hospital to take Sharmistha ji's statement.

Next morning

Sharmistha gets consciousness and was shocked to find herself in the hospital.  Swara tell her everything that happened. But Sharmistha replies she doesn't remember anything just that she was talking to Ragini and drank a glass of water from her hands.

Doctor comes with the reports and says that she was not in her senses and was drugged to kill Ragini. In this drug, a person loses his control over his senses and begins to do whatever he is asked to do. So someone must have asked her to kill Ragini.

Police says if he can say this in court. Doctor agrees.

Sanskaar is more shocked as this was the same drug which he and Ragini used to give to Swara.

He tells this to Swara and they understand that it was Ragini's plan.

Swara asks the police to go to the Bose house and get that glass tested as it would be very important clue in this case.

The bail papers arrive at the Bose house. Subhan brings it as Swara told him about it .

Police leave Sharmistha on bail and on Swara's insistence goes to get the glass tested and talk to the neighbours about what they saw.

Sharmistha starts to cry and says how can Ragini do this to us? Swasan and Subhan console her and asks her to be strong.

They take Sharmistha to baadi but there was another war which they had to fight.

At Baadi

Parvati on Ragini's influence turned Baadi people against the Bose family. They asked them to leave.

Subhan says if anyone tries to or force us to leave Baadi then he will do a case of harrassment on them. I am sure you wouldn't want to keep going to court, am I right?

Everyone shuts up.

Swara continues and say nothing is proven yet. She will prove her mother's and her own innocence as well. Then you won't be able to meet us in the eyes. Mark my words.

Police is also with Swasan and they take the glass for forensic testing and talks to the neighbours to find out what truly happened.

After that Swara and Sanskaar leave to go to the Maheshwari mansion.
