Epilogue

Ratchet and Shockwave performed the operation and put part of Starscream's spark in Knock Out fortunately it was a success and Knock Out survived and made a full recovery but didn't know if he would have an indestructible spark or not only that his had been repaired.

And Soundwave explained that he survived the explosion of the base but using one of his portals to get out at the last second but was knocked into stasis and came out of it then found out about Starscream and Knock Out being on the Peaceful Tyranny after contacting the Autobots and learning what was going on from Windblade.

And having been the one who stopped Tarn's plan Starscream and the rest of the Con Squad as they started calling the team of former Decepticons turned heroes choose to stay on Earth to help protect it, But anytime the seeker visited Cybertron instead of being chased and attacked he was now welcomed as a hero, Even receiving apologies from the bots who had gone after him before.

And Gage became a polite for Unit E. And he and Shayna both continued to visit the base and their cybertronian friends regularly.

Then one day Starscream found a message Megatron had left on his com-link when he had replaced it to save the seeker when Tarn had tried to strand him in space.

So the seeker brought it to the others and they all decided to listen to it together and it turned out Megatron had left a final message saying he wanted Starscream to become the new leader of the Con Squad.

Starscream told them he would have to think about it though.

"What's to think about you would make an awesome leader Star?, I mean your the one who saved the day." Twitch interrupted the story.

"Yeah and you saved Knock Out." Thrash added.

"Yeah I think you would do an awesome job." Said Nightshade.

"You should totally accept." Jawbreaker chimed in.

"That's what I keep telling him." Knock Out explained.

"That was pretty much it for the story, Why don't you kids go and play now." Starscream suggested wanting to change the subject, Getting the hint they all joined their Brother and Sister Robby and Moe.

"Knock Out and I always tell our story to the Terrans ever since Gage's friend Officer Malto adopted them when her children found them." Starscream thought to himself as he watched them play. "But I'm worried they look up to me too much I'm not a very good role model."

"Hey Starscream why don't you want to be leader I'm just curious?" Asked Hashtag who approached the seeker.

"I just don't feel like it's right for me to fill Megatron's role after all the times I tried to overthrow him in the past then when I was ready to follow his lead he sacrificed himself to save me it doesn't just feel better sweet it feels like a cruel joke because I failed to watched my own back and it got him killed." The seeker explained letting his wings drop.

"You didn't let him down Starscream he wanted to save you and he chose you to be the new leader because he was proud of you and knows you'll do a great job." Hashtag encouraged him.

"Thanks Hashtag." Starscream told the young Terran she was his favorite of the Terrans.

The next day Starscream accepted leadership of the Con Squad and made Knock Out his second in command, And Soundwave his third in command knowing he wanted to keep the position he served under Megatron.

"I'll need the help of all of you to make this work." Starscream told them and they all agreed to help him anyway they could.

"We all make mistakes because you can't run without tripping just like you can't fly without falling but the true test is to learn from our failures and try to do better next time and don't let your mistakes define you because you can always change for the better because everyone deserves a second chance, The important thing is that when we fall we get back up again weather it's on our own two feet or with a friend offering a hand to help you up or a shoulder for you to lean on,

"My name is Starscream and I will not waste the second chance I've been given, I will defend not just this planet but my friends and my family I will not just survive but I will defend those I care about and my home this is my promise."

Starscream entered the main room of the base, just in time for the team to receive their latest mission and they all got ready to go.

"Con Squad transform and rise up!" Starscream told his team.
