Dear Diary,
It's already summer, which means I've graduated. It was a long road, but it was a good one. I haven't kept you updated for a while, so now I'm going to tell you everything. Since the last entry, I know what you're most interested in: Theo James. Yes, we're still happily in a relationship, even though it was hard since the last entry. We nearly got caught dozens of times... doing stuff in his office.
I think you might be surprised that Aaron kept his mouth shut. We talked after that incident, and while he was still upset, he told me he wasn't the type of person to ruin lives. We agreed not to talk about it and to just say goodbye. Even though I saw him every day on campus, outside of it, in cafés, and in the library, we were already strangers—but strangers who knew a lot about each other, which was the strange part.
Even though I basically cheated on him, Aaron was a good person and still holds a special place in my heart.
"Hey," I heard his voice from behind me as I was writing in my diary. His lips brushed against my neck, sending shivers down my spine.
"Theo! You're all wet," I laughed, feeling the droplets of water from his naked body and hair.
"Come on!" he exclaimed, grabbing me and running toward the water.
"Oh my god! I shouldn't have agreed to come on vacation with you!" I squealed, now fully clothed in the salty sea water.
He just laughed, holding me close as the waves crashed around us. I couldn't help but join in, feeling the carefree joy of the moment. "You know you love it," he teased, his eyes sparkling with mischief.
He pulled me closer, his laughter mingling with mine as the sun set on the horizon.
"You are insane," I laughed, hearing my phone ring from our private beach. I walked over to it, picked it up, and headed inside our little villa to change. It was Anne FaceTiming.
"Hey!" I said, answering the call.
"Hey girl...why are you all wet?" she asked, eyebrows raised.
"I was thrown into the water without my consent," I laughed.
"I'm calling the cops on Theo," she joked, grinning.
"Please do," I chuckled, toweling off my hair. "What's up?"
"Just wanted to check in and see how you're doing. Looks like you're having a blast," she said, her smile genuine.
"Yeah, it's been amazing," I admitted, glancing out the window where Theo was still playing in the water. "How about you?"
"Well, I'm actually with Brian at his parents' summerhouse. We're sunbathing and just relaxing," she said, turning the camera to show a beautiful beach view.
"Wow, that looks gorgeous," I said, feeling a bit of envy. "How's it going with Brian?"
"Really well, actually. His parents are super nice, and we've just been having the best time," she said, smiling. "It's like a dream."
"That's great, Anne," I said, feeling a pang of homesickness. "I miss you."
"I miss you too, Rosie. But I'm glad you're having fun. You deserve it," she replied.
As we chatted, I started changing into my bathing suit. I slipped out of my wet clothes and into a bikini, adjusting the straps to ensure it fit just right. The villa's bathroom was small but cozy, with a large mirror that let me check my reflection. I tied my hair up into a messy bun to keep it out of my face.
