TINA'S POV:
The next morning I woke up feeling better, after my disastrous meeting with Dumbledore last night. I looked around my room properly for the first time, and it was beautiful. Obviously it had a lot of Gryffindor aesthetic to it but it simplistic and elegant. The room had an attached bathroom, a study desk, and a wardrobe. I noticed I was the only one in the room and no one else was sharing it with me.
'Perfect. Now I won't have people disturbing me and my plans for world domination!!...just kidding...kinda. Still it's nice to have some personal space.'
Since it was still 5 in the morning I decided to go for a jog around the castle grounds and let Daenerys free to fly for a while. I freshened myself, wore some sports clothing and let my irritated and grumbling owl out of her cage. I walked out of my room with Daenerys perched on my shoulder and down to the common room. No one was there and I took my time to walk around the room and observe. It looked like it had in the movies and felt as warm and comforting as described in the books. I waked out of the portrait hole and left the common room. I greeted a few of the painting which were awake and walked to the courtyard. I reached the courtyard and Daenerys flew off with a happy screech. I went for a jog around the grounds and explored the outside of the castle.
I ran into Snape, when I was jogging across one of the hallways and me, being me, said, "Good Morning Professor!" happily and sprinted down the rest of the hall before hearing his response.
Before you guys come for me saying that I was an idiot, Snape was and still is one of my most favourite characters from the books. I loved him even before finding out he was a good guy. Sure the guy had serious attachment issues but everyone has their flaws. If I had stayed and conversed with him, I probably would have ended up screaming that I loved him to his face and end up in the psych ward of St. Mungo's.
I went back to my common room and now a few 7th years were awake and instructing the 5th and 6th year prefects, who were awake, to wake up the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th years. A few people looked at me questioningly when I entered the room and looked me up and down before recognising who I was, and went back to their work. I wished them a good morning and walked back to my room.
I washed my face, got dressed and pack my bag for the day, before heading back down and going to the Great Hall for breakfast. I told Daenerys to meet me in the Great Hall after she was done flying and when I got there, she flew down from the ceiling and perched herself comfortably on the makeshift leather stand I had made for her, on my shoulder. The Hall had very few students scattered here and there and the staff were sitting at their table drinking coffee/tea.
'Prolly something a lot stronger than coffee/tea.' said Consy.
Hermione joined me at the table a few minutes later and we chatted about how exciting the new classes would be and all the new things we would learn, while enjoying the most mouth-watering breakfast ever. After eating we walked to our class.
