TINA'S POV

It's been five days since I got my letter from Hogwarts and my mood did not dampen in the slightest.

On that afternoon, mom came home early from and when I asked her why, she said that she received a letter to do so and it a matter of urgency.

"It came by an owl, Tina," she told me weakly as she melted onto the armchair. "A huge brown owl with grey spots. It flew strait at my window on the eleventh floor, in broad daylight."

"Did it get hurt?" I asked.

"No I don't think so. It just got right back up and flew in when I opened the window, dropped the letter, took a biscuit I had on my desk and left."

"Well what does the letter say?"

"A meeting," she told me wearily. "Three o'clock on the dot. Someone named McGonagall and apparently it's about you."

"Me?" I asked feigning surprise and trying not to scream out loud. Mom nodded and glanced at the clock on the wall.

"She's supposed to be here in fifteen minutes."

I smiled brightly and ran to look out of the window, waiting for McGonagall to appear. I realised that the witch probably wouldn't apparate, and would act muggle appropriate and walk down the porch like a normal person.

'I probably would have apparated and break the Statute of Secrecy'

'That's because your not normal or smart'

'Shut up!'

I could not hide my smile when I heard the doorbell ring. Mom went to get it. She opened the door to see a tall, severe-looking woman in an beautiful forest green cloak.

"Good Afternoon Mrs White. I would like to talk to you about your daughter," the woman said. "I had sent a letter, informing you about this meeting."

"Yes," Mom said in calm voice and let the woman in. To anyone witnessing from outside, mom would look like she was calm and collected, but I know her so I know that she was panicking like crazy on the inside. McGonagall had strange, unnervingly intimidating yet trustworthy aura around her.

Me on the other hand am so excited to meet one of my favourite professors at Hogwarts that I hands were trembling slightly and ice cold to touch.

McGonagall looked at me and nodded in acknowledgement. "Tina, I presume?" she asked.

I nodded politely, trying not to faint, and said, "Good afternoon ma'am" with a slight smile.

I saw McGonagall's lip twitch and was rather pleased that my last minute plan actually worked.

In the five days that I waited, I had created a last minute plan. When McGonagall would come I would greet her with the best polite smile I could muster, even though it was really difficult not to smile like a fucking maniac. See I realised that McGonagall was bound to be pleased because if she did go informing EVERY muggleborn's parents and family, she would be sick and tired of all the confused faces and having to convince them that magic was real. Besides right now I'm a cute little eleven year old. Anyone would fall for my charms and I was fucking right!

The elder witch was obviously confused by my welcoming and polite smile, it was as though I was expecting her, which I was but that's beside the point.

"I am Minerva McGonagall, Deputy Headmistress of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. I am sure you have noticed, but Tina is special. A bit different when compared to other children," she paused and looked at me. "We would like to enroll her at our school. Although your daughter's name has been written down in our register ever since she was born," 'Reborn more like' "the decision is ultimately yours... Your daughter, Tina, is a witch."
