Royal ball!!

Evie's POV

I was a proud Godmother of Beatrice, Mal and Ben's one-year-old daughter. I was in the middle of sewing a dress for Mal. "Is my dress done yet, Evie?" Mal asked. We lived in Auradon. I lived in my studio while Mal, Ben, and Beatrice lived in Beast castle, a castle for royalty. "Almost done. I just need to embroider the dragons on the dress," I said. "Oh, E... I hope this isn't too much, but Ben needs a suit made... do you think you could sew it?" Mal asked as she used the nickname she gave me. "Yeah, I just need to measure him first," I replied. Mal nodded and ran off to find her husband, Ben. "Ben!! Bennyboo!!" I heard Mal yell from the hall. "I'm coming, Mal. I just had to put Beatrice down for a nap," I heard Ben say. "Come on, Ben, I need to measure you for a suit for the royal ball you and Mal are hosting," I replied.

** At the royal ball **

I opened my phone to see messages in the group chat with Ben, Mal, Jay, and Carlos.

Evie: Has anyone seen Carlos?

Jay: Nope!

Ben: Mal and I haven't seen him at the ball, which is odd because his girlfriend Jane is here.

Mal: Yeah, Jane's here with Carlos's dog Dude but not a sign of Carlos.

Evie: Odd.... Jay, can you message Carlos and ask him if he's coming to the royal ball?

Jay: Yep!

I put my phone back in my pocket of my purse and went to talk to Mal and Ben. "Any sign of Carlos?" I asked. Jane, Carlos's girlfriend, walked over to us. "I found Carlos!!" Jane exclaimed. Just then, Carlos came out from behind Jane. "Carlos!!!" I exclaimed as I hugged him. I decided to pull out my phone and take a photo of all of us with Carlos and send it to my boyfriend Doug, who couldn't come to the ball. "Everyone smile!!" I said.
I snapped a photo and sent it off to my boyfriend Doug, who couldn’t make it to the ball. With a grin, I thought about how much he’d enjoy seeing us all together, dancing and laughing, with Beatrice cradled comfortably in her mother’s arms. I sent Doug the photo.
