Beatrice's POV

I may be five years old and the daughter of the king and queen of Auradon Mal and Ben, but here at Camp Rock, I get to make music with my friends. My purple hair that I got from my mom cascaded down my back, and my hazel eyes that I got from my dad glistened with excitement. "Hey, Mitchie..." I said to my best friend. I couldn't hold it in. I needed to tell Mitchie that I had a crush on Shane Gray. "Shane Gray! The little five-year-old boy?" Mitchie asked. I nodded. Shane, Mitchie, and I were all the same age five years old. Suddenly, Shane came over singing his song called 'Gotta Find You'. "You're the voice I hear inside my head, the reason that I'm singing, I need to find you. I gotta find you!" Shane sang as he met my hazel eyes. Mitchie elbowed me. “He’s looking at you!” Mitchie whispered, barely able to contain her excitement as her eyes flickered between Shane and me. I blushed fiercely, feeling as if I was standing on stage in front of a cheering crowd even though we were still just playing by the campfire. I bit my lip, torn between shyness and whimsy. “What do I do?” I whispered back to Mitchie, my cheeks burning. "Just be yourself," Mitchie told me. I nodded and walked up to Shane. "Hey Shane... your voice is so good and.... I have a crush on you," I said. I saw Shane blush. "Oh well, Beatrice, I feel the same way I have a crush on you too," Shane replied. What would my mom and dad think of me having a crush at five years old. "My mom and dad are gonna kill me because I like you, Shane!!" I said. "They won't kill you. Just tell them honestly, Beatrice," Shane replied. I nodded. I decided to write a letter to my mom and dad saying that I had a crush on Shane Gray. “Dear Mom and Dad, I have something I want to tell you. I like a boy named Shane, and I think he’s really cool. He sings so beautifully and he’s nice, and I hope you’ll like him too! Love, Beatrice 🌟” With a huge smile on my face, I folded it up and tucked it under my pillow, just in case I needed it in the morning. Tomorrow, I would share my heart with the most important people in my life.
