Perfect blue, blue for you. I'll drink the poison, honey-boo. Perfect blue, blue like you. I walk in time, in place with you.

She was beautiful. To him, at least. She was everything. And the earth took everything away from him. He was the world to her. He was her earth. He was the ground that she lived on. Their love like none other. It was the kind of love that is formed from experiencing death together. Back when she was with him. Back before fame was his.Michael Kaiser – a boy that remained a mystery to most. A man that remained a blessing to most. He was idolised. He was treated as if he was everything. He began to believe he was everything. "You got a tattoo." He looked at her and nodded. "I did." She grazed over it. Her fingers traced over each spiral of the rose. "It's blue." He nodded. No words left his mouth.
"You're blue." He cocked a brow. "You're really blue. You've always been blue." He didn't really understand what she meant. "Blue?" She nodded. "Everything. Perfect blue." Her hands on his. He still didn't flinch. He flinched at every motion. Not hers, though. Even after so long, her touch still felt so familiar. It still comforted the skin on his bones. His flesh fell in love with her, too. "Your world is blue." Ness looked at her. So intrigued to how she invaded the world of the man he idealised for so long.
To Kaiser, he was nothing. But to him, it seemed like Nikita was everything. "I see colours. I see a lot of colours. I see the tint of green in your eyes. I see the dark of your eyes. Like onyx emeralds. I tell you, I see more than just blue. I see you." His voice a mere whisper. Her body movement a mere shiver. He saw her. Ness didn't hear the words. She did. Nobody else heard the words. Because they were meant for just her. He was meant for only her.
Even Ness would have to accept that. "Niki?" She didn't speak. She shook. She had him back. He was hers again. He had to be. She watched him. She sat there and watched him train for hours. Why? Because he was eye-catching. She couldn't take her eyes off of him. The sweat glistening on his skin. Every aspect of him was perfect. His hair, his tattoo, his eyes, perfectly blue. Blue was her favourite colour. She didn't know since when. Maybe since she first saw him.
"Kaiser, pay attention!" Ness yelled. The pair instantly broke eye contact. She hated it. She hated not being able to look at him. She always saw right through him. She knew every lie and truth he told. Noa sat next to her. "Did you make up with him?" His eyes gestured to Kaiser. Nikita paused. "Yeah, I really did." A slight smile involuntarily forming on her face. Noa couldn't help but repeat that action. "I'm glad. Kaiser's a good kid, really." She nodded. "Don't you need to get home." Nikita's eyes widened.
Although in her heart she knew she would be in trouble, she still wanted to tell him goodbye. "Mikey!" The boy instantly stopped. Her boy. He carelessly kicked the ball away as he walked towards her. "What's up?" She inched closer to him. Her head in his chest. "I have to go now." He frowned. "Yeah, okay." She didn't want to leave. Wild roses. She had grown to miss the scent of it all her life. The scent of him. She walked away. Noa beside her. Like her father would have. He looked Kaiser over. "If he treats you badly, you know you can come to me. Okay, kiddo?"
She nodded. She did know she could come to him. She would come to him if anything did happen. She knew that he would actually protect her like a father. He wouldn't just not care. He wouldn't put his reputation over his own child. She sighed. "Yeah, okay." She smiled. Michael's eyes glazed over her once again. Though, he never took them off her. The feeling seemed to be mutual to them. But she looked like she needed saving. She had done the same for him when she needed it. So, he wanted to be the one to save her.
Not Noa. Not some other kid. Him. It had to be him. Because it had to be him that she loved the most. He couldn't bear the thought. She looks at bonds so strangely. He thinks. He wonders what the problem is. He knows he can't save her at home. He can just tell there's a problem by the way she clings to Noa as a father so desperately. Like she doesn't have a real one. In a way, she wouldn't. A real one prioritises his children over the world. Money, fame, or reputation. In all of that, their kid comes first.
Her body is left outside her door. She doesn't move in for a second. "You okay?" Noa's voice feels so comforting. So welcoming. She nods. It's quiet. She likes the quiet. But she hates it now. Her legs keep moving. Her father on the couch. Her mother next to him. Their hands together. It was nice. She liked the fact that her parents loved eachother. More than they loved money. Or fame. It wasn't as if it was all their kids. It was just her. Her older brother never had to deal with it. He was a problem from the start.
So she had to make up for that. She had to be the good one. She had to be the one to bear the responsibility. Even if it meant living like she was afraid. Because she was. She relies on her parents' money. It's why she doesn't complain so much. She sees the money as payment for the way they treat her. The was all of them treat her. It's fair to her. She just hates it. She doesn't care. She never cared. She never cared when her heart clenched, seeing other fathers hug their daughters. She didn't care.
His voice hurt. "Nikita. Do you want to tell me where you were? Do you want to tell me why what you did was so idiotic? Or do you want me to cut off every source of money you have until you do?"

Chapter end.I'm sorry my updates are late. I was at like a camp so haven't been able to write at all because wifi was pretty bad. And updating costs a ton of data. But I'm back so things will probably continue as normal.
I love you all so much. Stay safe. Hydrate, eat well, sleep well, and be healthy enough. You only have one elixir. And I can only heal the moon once. Okay?
