PRETTY THOUGHTS ━━

NOW TO SAY THAT ETHAN WAS FRAIL AND WEAK WAS AN EXAGGERATION is what Daniel had told Amerie, Ethan his mother. But now with the teenage boy right in front of him, he realised Amerie was right about one thing; her son was as weak as a bug. Ethan himself knew that he was weak and just learned to live with it, he had a bit of chub but in the kind that he was not skinny enough to be skinny but not chubby enough to be chubby. If you saw him in normal clothes he looks skinny, but he had this very small layer of chub which showed he had no muscles.

Daniel had started with basic muscle training which Ethan was halfway decent at. Though you could tell by small whimpers that Ethan did easily get tired because once again he had no muscles in his bones.

Samantha walked down stairs dressed in basic joggings and a light top. She looked over at the garden and saw a boy doing the same muscle training she had done long before this. A new student.

This was odd, right before the Sekai Taikai? Sam walked out and headed towards her dad, ignoring the boy who was washing cars. "Dad why are we accepting new students at this time?" The girl asked clearly worried, after everything they had overcome to join the Sekai Taikai, this was a bad idea. This would leave her father occupied with a new student and sensei Lawrence alone with the others, which could either be great or a disaster.

Daniel sighed and looked over at his daughter, "I owe his mom a favour, besides he's sort of a quick learner." He explained trying to up the confidence but if he was honest he did not have much himself. He had seen weak, this was weak with a sticker placed on top saying 'Fragile!'. Sam narrowed her eyes, he seemed about the same age as her little brother.

"Dad, a new student is going to take a lot of time! You'll be exhausted!" Sam argued, clearly worried about the stamina of her father. Daniel put up his hands and tried to calm her down, "Now don't worry, he will only train on separate days until he is strong enough to join the others." He explained which Sam did not seem happy with.

Sam sighed and just left, going back inside her house. After a few more hours of Ethan struggling to not force his arms to get a rest he finally got one. Ethan had always been described with few words; weak, quiet, odd and amusing. Weak was the one used most often, not that he could blame them because it always seemed to be proven right. He was a mess of baby fat and limbs with a sprinkle of paint drops on his hands.

Starting from scratch was definitely hell, and at those moments he hated his mom for not forcing him to go to karate lessons or any type of sports when he was a toddler. He wasn't sure how he had no arm strength despite his arm being in the air ninety percent of his life. Ethan had always been rather absorbed in painting, even as a little kid.

"Alright kid, go get cleaned up and we will meet you for dinner soon. My wife and your mom called to make sure you don't hate the food." Daniel stated with a grin, Ethan awkwardly nodded. He didn't like talking to adults, he always felt out of place. Ethan always felt out of place if he was honest, he never truly belonged anywhere except his own room. He liked being alone in his slightly smaller than average room, he enjoyed that when the door shut the voices in the house echoed softer, that he wouldn't have people next to him all the time.

Ethan was overwhelmed way too quickly, too many people touching him was a nightmare. He always exploded onto the few people who actually cared for him, even with Erin who was practically his only friend. Ethan never knew how to apologise for blowing up onto people, he always tried to refrain from it but it always seemed to overpower him somehow. Too many questions asked or repeated made his mind grow irritated, which he apparently quickly had.

"You really didn't have to Mr. LaRusso, but thank you." Ethan politely nodded, he did not want to spend his dinner with this family. Don't get him wrong, he liked them so far because they were kind people. But at the same time this was not his thing and his mom knew that, this was probably a stunt to try and make his social circle larger. Ethan felt weird in this house, as if the universe was showing was a perfect family was. A son, a daughter and two loving parents who were more than well off, the universe must have had something against him.

He headed upstairs and opened the first possible door towards the bathroom. It wasn't. Anthony was laid on his bed, scrolling through his phone like any teenager at this age.

Anthony looked up, "Is dinner already done?" He asked. Ethan quickly turned red and shook his head. This boy was really pretty.

"Umh- No, no. I just wanted to ask where the bathroom is." Ethan explained sheepishly looking at the boy. From a young age Ethan had known he was gay, well, more like everyone except him knew he was. It was no surprise that the Harry Styles fan was gay, the boy who always gushed over Harry his looks like a teenage girl did.

Anthony sighed and got up from his bed, slightly irritated by the distraction. He walked out the door, Ethan took the hint and followed Anthony. He led him to another door and opened it, it was beautiful. The interior was well chosen and they had a bath and a shower!

"Umh.. here are the towels, the shampoos are in there." Anthony explained, pointing and opening some cabinets. "I think dinner will be ready in like twenty so don't take too long." He stated with a half smile, Ethan nodded.

He was pretty, was the thought that came to mind when he saw him leave the bathroom. Anthony was really pretty, his dark eyes with that soft smile were from those ridiculous movies. Ethan didn't often call someone pretty, not at all. Anthony was just pretty.

He sighed and hopped in the shower.
