Smiling at the picture I propped up my phone on my counter as I called Xo.
"Why hello symphony" a very smiley Xolana spoke. "Wsp ma who baby you got there" I questioned since I knew almost everyone she did and none of them had kids.
"My big sister Veve she's in town visiting me which turned into me babysitting " she spoke as she propped her phone up on her coffee table as she patted the baby's back.
I could get used to this.
"You look good like that ma, holding a baby fits you" I spoke as she smiled.
"Thank you handsome" she complimented as I nodded.
"So Ant is having a party at his shit and I wanted us to go , it's up to you though ma" I spoke.
"Yeah I'm down what's the dress code?"
"I'm so deadass when I say this shit too so don't laugh 'fly shit only'" I spoke as I quoted Ants invitation.
"He's so corny , okay" she responded as she giggled.
"When you gone have my baby?" I blurted out with no remorse. "You want me to push one of these out ? " she questioned.
"Mhm. A couple" I responded as I started taking my food out the pan.
"What's a couple symphony?WAIT YOU COOKED WHATS THAT" she exclaimed causing the baby to scrunch up.
"See you got her scared , you so greedy , it's chicken parm why you want some?"
Watching as she pondered I couldn't help but laugh. She'd do anything for some food.
"Don't laugh at me big back , and yes I do want some butttt my sister won't be back for another 3 hours, you could bring it to me" she responded as she smiled ear to ear.
"I got you ma, I'll be there shortly " I spoke. Nodding she hung up and I immediately pre-pared her food to go.
As I headed upstairs to my room to pack my clothes for the night not wanting to keep Lana waiting I couldn't help but smile at the picture of us on my wall.
When I woke up she was the first thing I saw even if she wasn't with me, that's all I wanted.
