Kim and I exchanged glances. "We need to consider every detail," Kim emphasized. "Let's start with ourselves. We were outside for a while, but we eventually went to sleep around midnight. A heavy atmosphere lingered in the room, and I started to think, but I could only sigh deeply. It's already late," he said. "Let's go to sleep; we'll see what we can do in the morning, okay?"

"When are your parents coming home?" I asked. "I don't know, but you can stay over; it's okay," Kim reassured. I said, "Okay," and we went to sleep. As we lay down, I couldn't shake off the unsettling feeling from Isabel's last text. It was a cry for help. I felt that the bonds of trust were shattered, and the once-close friendships made me wonder how well I truly knew the people I called friends. Who could be responsible for Isabel's death?

Sleep eluded me. Kim, sensing my stress, tried to comfort me. Holding me, he said, "You can feel stressed; it's okay." My face turned to him, our lips touched, and I felt safe with him, sensing his trustworthiness. Eventually, I pulled away slightly, our eyes meeting. A soft, understanding gaze in Kim's eyes conveyed that he was there for me. Without saying anything, he let me know that he understood.

As our eyes locked, it felt as if the world outside had disappeared, and the only thing that mattered was the connection we shared. Kim's comforting presence enveloped me like a warm embrace. Without saying a word, he gently brushed a strand of hair away from my face and continued to kiss me.

For the first time, I completely surrendered myself to him. Kim's touch was gentle yet passionate. His fingers traced the contours of my face, sending shivers down my spine. The tenderness in his actions made me feel cherished and valued, allowing myself to be enveloped in the warmth of his embrace. As our kiss deepened, it felt as if we were exploring uncharted territories of desire and vulnerability. With each passing moment, I felt a newfound sense of liberation, surrendering to the intensity of emotions that bound us together. As our embrace tightened, I could feel Kim's heartbeat against my chest.

"Kim," he said, his voice a gentle reassurance. "No matter what happens, we'll get through it together." The weight of Isabel's mysterious message still lingered, but for that moment, in Kim's arms, everything felt okay.

The following morning, we awoke to the sun filtering through the curtains, casting a warm glow across the room as we sifted through more clues. Kim looked at me with a mix of concern and determination. "We're getting closer," he said, his eyes reflecting the gravity of the situation. "But we need to be careful. The truth might be more complicated than we imagine."

The morning brought a sense of urgency as Kim and I delved deeper into the mystery surrounding Isabel's distressing message. We could not find any clues, so we decided to wait for the day that we could see everybody who was at the wedding party at the funeral.

I said to Kim, "Let's not be too suspicious and ask too many questions. Okay, let's be careful." "Yes, you are right. Let's be careful." "If you know something, tell me immediately." "Yes, I promise."

The funeral day arrived, casting a somber atmosphere over everyone. The sun hid behind thick clouds, as if nature itself mourned the loss of Isabel. The air was heavy with grief, and the attendees wore expressions of sorrow and confusion.

Kim and I arrived at the funeral together, our shared secret hanging between us like a heavy cloud. As we entered the venue, the hushed whispers and solemn faces of the other attendees intensified the gravity of the situation. We exchanged glances, knowing that every person present could be a potential suspect.

Isabel's casket was adorned with flowers, a stark contrast to the hidden pain she had carried. The priest spoke words of solace, but the truth loomed like a shadow, waiting to be unveiled. Kim and I kept our distance from each other, careful not to draw attention. The funeral became a gathering of unspoken questions and hidden suspicions. Friends exchanged guarded glances, and the weight of Isabel's mysterious message lingered in the air. Each person present wondered if they truly knew the others, or if everyone was hiding secrets beneath the surface.
