As a mermaid, Nox has a really pale skin colour, and he looks really skinny and fragile. He got some dark silver hair that would shine like pure silver in the sun, while some black lashes were around his deep blue eyes. They look as deep as the ocean from where he came from. His fish tail was glittering in different blue colours, and the fins were big and majestic. He got some soft face features, but his teeth were all pointy. There were gills on his neck while his ears and hands were looking pretty normal.
Nox was wearing some shiny gold earrings and a black translucent shirt ( like on the pic above ).
𝐻𝑢𝑚𝑎𝑛 𝑓𝑜𝑟𝑚:
In his human form, he got a slightly darker skin colour and looks a little more alive than before. His hair would change into a raven colour while his eyes would stay in this deep blue. His teeth would change into normal human teeth except for his Fangs. They would stay pointy. Nox would still be skinny, but with a few faint muscles. He would still have some blue scales shimmering on his shoulders and on the legs here and there as well as on his back.

𓆉 𝑃𝑒𝑟𝑠𝑜𝑛𝑎𝑙𝑖𝑡𝑦 𓆉
Nox is pretty shy and distant at first, but he will warm up pretty fast and easily. Even if he doesn't understand anything, he won't lose his smile. Also, he can be very wary at first meetings since he had a bad first impression of human beings. He's a positive boy who is very forward when he would warm up to you and wouldn't understand anything from personal space. Nox is pretty touchy since he doesn't know anything about humans except for the fact that they are mean and bad. Interested and naive would be two words that describe him perfectly but also warm-hearted and kind. Since he's so naive and nice, he easily gets hurt or would pout pretty fast but also gets embarrassed very easily.
Mostly, Nox needs to learn a lot about humans and their feelings since its very different from what he used to have back in the ocean. But you can't stay mad at him for long. When there is a time when Nox would be angry or mad at you, then you should probably run because he can get very brutal and wouldn't hold back.
⚜༄𝐵𝑎𝑐𝑘𝑔𝑟𝑜𝑢𝑛𝑑༄⚜
He grew up in the depths of the ocean within the hidden kingdom of the Mermaids. He learned to hunt, escape human traps, and simply survive. He had a lot of fun in the ocean with his friends and family. Nox would always travel alone when he got older and would visit many places and different oceans. He would swim closer to the surface as he had his first encounter with a human. Sure, he hid himself in some coral caves, but the boy was interested. He had never seen a human before in his entire life. Their tail was split in two, and their fins had a weird shape... Out of curiosity, he swam closer to the human, and the human saw him. Probably because of this encounter, there were a lot more human traps in the ocean, but Nox was foolish enough to think everything was fine and that it wasn't because of that. One day, a turtle got caught in one of the fishing nets, and the male tried to free it by ripping it apart with a sharp stone, but little did he know that this was just another trap. Even if the turtle tried to warn him, he just didn't listen to it at all and got caught by an evil man. This man put him in a small tank only big enough for him to swim around a little with nothing in it in a dark cave... what a weird place...
