Yu is a very handsome and cute little fella. His hair is long, wavy, sometimes a mess, and a light teal colour. On some days, you can find several leaves or sticks in his hair from his walk through the forest. His eyes had a light greyish, almost white colour, and some long lashes framing them. He has a beauty mark right under his left eye and some soft features whilst he had a slim, almost feminine frame. Some big fluffy, white, tealish coloured fox ears were on his head with some black tips. His skin was bright and very much flawless without a hint of scars except his hands. They had a lot of cuts from all the herbs and other stuff he's collecting in the forest. Despite his feminine frame, he got a few muscles and a six-pack because of his swordsmanship that he learned. He's quite flexible due to the ritual dances he's doing. He has a big and very fluffy tail in the same colour as his ears, but the tip was in a darker teal colour and not black. Sometimes, when he's smiling, you can see his pointy Fangs.
Yu was always wearing his traditional Kimono in light blue or teal colours with some gold ornaments on it. Some of his kimonos had some wavy lines that would symbolise the water or the ocean while others would have some small leaves on the end of his Kimono, like they're falling down in different green and blue colours. He would always wear the little teal coloured hair piece ( the one in the picture ) made out of tainted glass. Whenever he would do one of his performances during a festival or ritual, he would wear some beautiful, flowy gown in white with a dark blue skirt fading into a sky blue and white. It has some beautiful flowers and leaves patterns and simply looks very magical. He would wear also wear a white fox mask during those performances with gold ornaments and some dark blue colour to hide his identity.

𝑃𝑒𝑟𝑠𝑜𝑛𝑎𝑙𝑖𝑡𝑦
Yu has a very kind and friendly personality even if he's living alone in a forest, very far away from the social life he gets quite excited whenever he's meeting new people. He would always help those in need, even if it brought him some trouble a few times already. He had a big heart and is always optimistic and very calm even if the situation is getting kinda dangerous. Yu likes being alone, but sometimes he's feeling a little lonely, and he doesn't really understand jokes that well. Sure, he gets along with anyone, but sometimes he's a little too naive and gets easily misunderstood even tho he doesn't mean it in a bad way. Yu can't harm a fly, but when he's getting angry, then you should stay away from him. He can get quite loud when he's mad about something and would say it directly. At a first meeting, he can get a little wary, but it'll soothe down after a few minutes. He's lovely and super chill.
𝐵𝑎𝑐𝑘𝑔𝑟𝑜𝑢𝑛𝑑
He had a very normal childhood. He was born on the dragon spine, so he's quite alright with the cold up there. His mother showed him some dances and teached him some of those dance moves but his parents died because of the fatuis when he was around 6 years old. He was wandering around Teyvat until an elderly woman took him in and taught him all he needed to know to survive in this world. She taught him all the herbs and how to cook them properly, or which one he could take to bake some healing pastries. One thing that she taught him was that he should always help people in need in order to survive because all those good deeds would come back in the end. The old woman died when he was around 12 years old, and so he lived his life like she taught him. He wandered around in sumeru through the forest, searching for herbs and berries, hunted some fish and other wild animals until he helped an adventurer in need. He got a bad wound because of some hilichurls, so he treated him and saved his life. As a thank you, the adventurer taught him the swordsmanship and gave him a sword as a gift. It was also around the time that the archon gifted him with his hydro vision. He learned how to use the water to heal and to protect him or other people. With 18, he visited the lantern festival in liyue and was fascinated by all those things even tho the city was way too loud and crowded. He bought a beautiful fox mask to hide his face as he walked around liyue as he noticed a little crowd panicking about something. He got a little closer and heard that the main dancer got lost on their way here, and it would take a while for them to come, so they needed someone else to dance. That's where he offered to dance for them, and they agreed without hesitation. Just because of this one dance, he got quite famous as 'Miyu', a mysterious kitsune dancer that would only appear at night and disappear after his magical dance. Yes, he ran away after his first dance because he was way too embarrassed to meet so many people...
