don't forget to commenttt<333 ; also here taylor is a teenager
Taylor slammed her math textbook shut, frustration radiating from her. She'd just been grounded for a bad grade, and the last straw was her mom's ultimatum: no seeing Travis for the entire day. Her mom, Andrea, had lectured her about focusing more on her studies and less on her boyfriend, claiming that Travis was a distraction. Taylor knew deep down that wasn't entirely fair, but she also knew her mom was determined to make her see the error of her ways.
The rest of the afternoon felt like an eternity. Taylor's phone buzzed constantly with texts from Travis, each one more encouraging than the last. Despite her mom's strict rules, Taylor couldn't help but feel a pang of excitement every time she saw his name light up her screen.
By mid afternoon, the screen of her phone glowed with Travis's name. She answered immediately.
"Hey, Trav," she said, trying to mask her frustration.
"Hey, Taylor. Can u go out a little?" Travis's voice was laced with mischief. "I'm parked outside. I know you're grounded, but come on, what's the fun in following all the rules? Get down here," he said with a playful insistence.
Taylor's heart skipped a beat. She glanced nervously at the door of her room, half-expecting her mom to come barging in. "You can't come here. My mom is really strict today. She said I can't see you."
"Come on, Taylor. What's the worst that could happen? I'll be waiting."
Taylor hesitated for a moment, torn between her desire to see Travis and her fear of disobeying her mom. But the thought of spending even a few minutes with him was too tempting.
She texted back quickly. "Okay, I'll be down in a few. I have to tell my mom I'm going for a walk or something."
Taylor made her way to the stairs, her heart racing with anticipation. She passed her mom's room, bracing herself for what was to come.
"Where are you going?" Andrea called from the kitchen, her voice sharp.
"I'm just going for a walk," Taylor said nonchalantly, trying to sound casual. "I'll be back soon."
Andrea's gaze was skeptical. "A walk? No, not today. You're grounded."
"Come on, Mom," Taylor pleaded, her frustration bubbling over. "Please, i wont take long."
Andrea's expression softened slightly but remained firm. "Alright, you can go for ten minutes only, and you have to be back right after. And make sure you're not meeting up with Travis. I don't want you distracted from your studies." she said her gaze skeptical.
"Yeah, whatever," Taylor replied, her tone more defiant than she intended. She pulled on her jacket and headed for the door, not waiting for a response.
Once outside, Taylor spotted Travis's car parked behind the house, carefully out of sight from the street. She approached the vehicle, her nerves giving way to excitement as she climbed into the passenger seat.
Travis turned to her with a wide grin, his eyes twinkling. "You made it! I wasn't sure if you would."
Taylor grinned back, feeling a rush of relief and happiness. "You know me. I can't resist a little rebellion."
"Good to hear," Travis said, his smile growing wider. "I've got a surprise planned. You need to forget about that bad grade and just enjoy yourself."
Taylor shook her head. "Actually, I can only stay for ten minutes. My mom's pretty strict today, and I'm supposed to be back right after. We'll have to stay here in the car."
