(First Person) Astrid

"Alright, listen up," Hunter began, "We are dividing into groups of 2 so we can cover ground faster around the city. It's not a big city but, it gets crowded around this hour so be alert. Ask the people around about the exsplosion, be discreet and under no circumstances can these people know we are from the Republic. We will investigate further at night in more detail when there are little to no people around. Anything to add?" I nodded my head and began, "As you know, my father was a special royal guard here of Naboo. The royal guards were taught a special coded language that my brother taught me. If you see any weird pictures, tell me and I can translate it. You won't find any device that can translate the symbols". Everyone seemed a little cautious ever since they found out I was from Naboo. Before Hunter explained the mission, I told everyone about my ties to this planet. Even, how cruel my father was.

"Anything else we should know about this place?" Echo asked sternly. "Well, the people here are very welcoming because they don't get a lot of travelers. Other than that, I can't recall anything else that might be relevant" I replied with honesty. I could tell Echo was skeptical, seeing as I have kept my past a secret. I knew I had to earn his trust back. "I know I will have to earn everyone's trust back but, I hope you can see why I've kept it to myself for so long. My past isn't something I especially like talking about" I admitted, meeting everyone's eyes. "We understand why you kept it to yourself. But, you have know most of us for almost 3 years. We are people you can trust to share your burdens with. Even if they are unpleasant to speak about," Tech assured, taking his eyes off his data pad to meet mine. "Yeah. We got your back" Wrecker reassured and gave me a 'pat' on my back. "Thanks Wrecker for the enthusiasm" I groaned while rubbed my now sore back.

"We are now coming up on Dee'ja Peak. Beginning landing sequence," came the pilot's voice from the cockpit. As the private transported completed its descent, we walked down the ramp in our civilian clothing and watched the ship fly away. The pilot dropped us off just outside the city so we wouldn't draw attention to ourselves and blow our cover. Hunter then paired us up putting me with Crosshair and him with Echo. "And remember, we are undercover so don't draw and attention to ourselves. Be discreet". Hunter reminded. We all turned our heads towards Wrecker. He gave us a confused look then said, "I don't know why you're all looking at me". I scoffed then reminded, "Do I need to remind you what happened on Canto Bight in the casino? Oh, and how can I forget, during that one game of poker!" "How was I suppose to know that he was the owner of the casino?" Wrecker complained.

"Can talk about this later? Let's just get in the city," Hunter groaned. I chuckled slightly while we followed him into the city. But, what we saw was a big surprise. There were tones of people in the streets conversing and dancing. There were booths set up everywhere with homemade goods being sold. Above the booths, were streamers spelling the words 'Celebrate Those Loss'. "Astrid, what's all this?" Tech asked looking around with curiosity. "I don't know. But, whatever it is, it shouldn't interfere with why we are here. Let's stick to the plan," I assured while watching everyone's smiling faces. "You heard her, let's focus on why we're here," Hunter added then started walking away with Echo in toe. Wrecker shouted joyfully and started dragging Tech along with him.
