MIKE FRANCHES
“Row harder!!”
“I’m trying!”
Manda helped us with a small boat that we could use to infiltrate the enemy ship, a couple nautical miles away we saw the ship’s deck go up in flames.
“Shit, that looks bad” hirsi commented.
“Keep rowing, we need to get there as soon as possible”
I added “Don’t you have that physical boost ability?”
“For fuck sake!!, I thought the company signed to keep my shit private?!” Hirsi raged, “first Julie now you!!”
“Just use it!” I demanded
he then activated it.
^Its impressive, how he could easily row the boat. At some point I felt like I would disrupt his flow, I’ve always wished for a better ability than this shit I have^
I stared down at my palm,
*Spark*
“We’re here!!” he shouted, lost in thought he snapped me back to reality.
^already?^ i stood up
“catch” I threw a rope at him.
*hup* *swoosh*
He caught it then threw it silently hooking onto the ship’s railings
“are you good at climbing?”
“Yeah, i guess so” he replied
“good, you’ll climb first and then pull me up”
The infiltration went smoothly, we were left with phase two and three of my objectives, which are sabotage and escape .
“you still haven’t told me of your goals here” hirsi whispered as we snuck around the corridors.
“shush, Just follow me and you’ll soon find out”
“find the coolants before this thing over heats!!” someone shouted up ahead.
“I think thats the engine room” hirsi suggested
“Good cuz that’s where we need to be”
“ok. But how?” He questioned
“are you fond of killings?” I asked
“No. But it’s kill or be killed” He replied
“good. cuz if we don’t kill them they’ll kill us, come let’s go”
He diligently followed me from behind. We silently rushed to the engine room slightly pacing by the ship’s crew members who seemed like they were looking for something in a panic.
We were one turn away from the engine room, then hirsi couldn’t   hold his curiosity any longer.
“are you planning to kill them?”
“Yes. You have a problem?”
“No. I just needed to prepare myself”
“this isn’t going to be your first run is it?” I asked
“I’ve killed before”
“Good, I guess brono made the right call”
^He always does^
We took a left turn, the door had a thick metal barrier and a huge lever which to my guess needed immense strength to open it.
“.....” I silently stared at hirsi.
^you know what to do buddy^
“......” he silently stared back
“what?” He asked
“Open the fucking door!” I said in disappointment
“just ask, don’t stare at me and expect me to understand. I’m not a fucking psychic” he complained while opening the door.
*kreeek* *boshh*
^how strong is this guy?^
He swung the door aside then smoke slowly leaked out the room.
^what the fuck?^
“Did you find it!?” someone inside the room shouted
Hirsi stared at me with confusion, I signalled to him we should walk in slowly.
“heyy!!, did you find the fucking coolant or not!?!” the man persisted
I believe he couldn’t clearly see us but he could make out our figures in the thick smoke same goes to us.
We got close enough, hirsi jumped him covering his mouth whilst wrapping his arm around his neck.
“hmhm” the man struggled to talk only letting out a few muffles.
“Hold him there, ill look for the battery”
“What if other people come?” he asked
“snap his neck then kill the others”
He nodded, the man he held had his eyes wide open in a shock. He then bit hirsi’s palm.
“Ouch!!!” hirsi let out a cry
“Listen to me, if we don’t find the coolant we’re all gonna die.” The man argued
“Hah, not WE it’s YOU and your other friends out there” I argued back
“We extracted all the ores, they’re on this ship that you want to blow” he said
^We need the ores, or else manda won’t  pay us!^
“Fuckkk!” , “where are they?!” I walked up to him pulling him by the collar.
“Tell your buddy here to let me go first” he smirked
^i took a look at hirsi and this time he got the message^
*snap* the man fell to the ground
“I wish you had told me to do that sooner” he sight
“We need to leave... quick”
“Hey!!, something wrong?” a woman shouted outside the door
“Derick!, hallo?”
Hirsi and I stood still not wanting her to notice us.
^shit!^
She raised her right hand and all the smoke started disappear.
“now!”
We rushed the door, I tackled her to the ground then hirsi pulled me back up as she groaned on the floor.
“Go! Go!”
We took a right turn and came to a stop, hirsi leaned on the wall and peaked to his right.
“they’re pilled up at the junction” He sighted
“How many?”
“Too much for us to handle”
^Ahhh shit, what now?^
“I think I know where the storage unit is”
“where?” I asked
“I’ve been to the engine room on the other ship and they were placed on parallel locations with this ship and this one looks like a bigger model of manda’s ship” he theorised
“and?”
“if we’re lucky mybe the designer didn’t change positioning of unit around the ship”
“so do you know where it is?” I asked
“yes”
He walked back down the corridor taking turns and climbing stairs as we merely snuck around the crew.
“are we close?” I grew inpatient
“I took some wrong turns but we’re almost there”
I held on for a while but i started to get nervous.
^does he really know where it is?^
He one last turn then said.
“we’re here”
Compared to the other door from the engine room this door was twice as big in size and thickness.
“Mike I don’t think I can open this” he said
“yeah I guessed”
^Can i open it?^
^mybe I should melt the centre enough for hirsi to punch through^
“I’m gonna melt it you’ll look out for us  while I do that”

HIRSI ASLAN
^he’s an elemental?^
“ok” I replied
I stared down the hallway for a couple of minutes as I heard a fissing sound behind  me , I tried to sneak in some looks to see how he was doing.
“done” He said with relief
“so you’re a fire user?” I asked.
“yeah, ill need you to take over from here. I’ve melted it enough for you to punch through it”
The door was beaming deep red from the heat I tried getting my hand closer to the centre but the heat coiled my fingers backwards.
^how the fuck am I supposed to punch through this??^
I looked back at Mike with a puzzle expression.
He looked back at me with his back bent forward and his hands supported him on his knees as he stood. His eyes seemed deprived from food and ready to pounce on any opportunity.
He probably thought ^“if your not going to do ill do it my self”^
I looked back at steaming door and clinched my fists tight bracing myself for pain I’m going to experience.
^wait.. I have the drugs if take one pill it will nullify my pain receptors^
I quickly searched through all my pocket then found the pills in my left jackets pocket.
^I have ten left, two would be enough^
I was given twelve pills I ended up giving the man on the beach two of them and if I use two more ill be left with eight.
^I hope Mike doesn’t snitch^
I shoved the pills down my throat and felt an intense surge of pain run down my spine. I felt like my eyes could pop out at any moment and my brain would explode if I thought too much.
I fell to my knee and groaned.
“Are you alright?” Mike asked
I quickly stood up and clinched my fists once again taking two deep breaths.
*booshhh*
My eyes were closed but my sense of touch was going crazy, the molten steel wrapped around my hand as soon as i pushed through it and cooled fast as soon as my hand was on the other side.
I quickly pulled my hand out and rushed to check for any damages.
“Nice!” Mike celebrated
My hand was bright red and had blisters covered all over. Nothing.. I felt nothing at all.
^i feel nothing .....^
It scared me a bit.
Mike peaked his hand through the hole I made and pulled a lever from the inside.
*kreeeek*
He slowly slid it open.
“Get up, we need to take as much as we can and leave” Mike offered his right hand
And I offered my left hand careful not to damage my already swollen right hand.
As soon as he picked me up the alarms went off and the lights throughout the hallway turned red.
*peeeeeuuuuuuuuuuupppppp* *peeeeeeeeuuuuuuuuuuuppp*
The alarms started singing.
“they’re onto us” Mike whispered as he took a look back
He then walked towards the storage room through the disfigured door.
Bright gold the ores glowed, I walked in covering my eyes from the glow afterwards my eyes started to slowly adjust. Mike stood there admiring their beauty, he shacked his head breaking the trance and picked up a huge drawstring bag.
“your left arm is still good right?” He asked
“yeah it’s alright”
“ok, you’ll be carrying the bag back to the ship and I’ll distract them for as you run”
“if I take the boat what will you use to escape?” I asked
“Ill find another one on this ship” he said as he shoved the last remaining ores in the bag.
He stood up then helped me put on the bag carefully wrapped it around my shoulder.
*thud* thud* *thud*
We heard foot steps coming at us.
“listen.... if I don’t make it out of here I want you to give two pieces of ores to somebody named Jack, you’ll find under the loden bridge” Mike said as he hang both his arms on my shoulders.
“Go! Go!”
He didn’t give me a chance to reply or process the situation.
“hirsi!! Run!!”
I Ran out of the room with my damaged hand closely placed to my chest, tracing my way back where came from I heard Mike call out to the crew to distract them from me, luckily they didn’t see me run away. I passed by the engine room and had but a short glance, the room emitted green light, that reminded me of the battery that was about to over load back at Manda’s ship it had the same glow. I quickly came to a stop.
^that’s what they needed the coolant for!, this ship is about to explode, I only have seconds, I cant run back to Mike and tell him, we would both die^
“fuuucckkkk!”
^Im sorry bro i promise ill deliver the ores”
I continued running to our boat and reached the exit of the hallway and entrance to the deck. People were panicking clouds started gathering above.
^it’s happening now!!^
<the phenomenon of clouds gathering as if a storm is about to start Is known as THE GREAT BLANKET and our main character is about to have a rough ride up ahead>
Some people spotted me with the filled bag but none saw it as suspicious they were all disoriented rushing for life jackets and stealing pedals from each other.

I got closer to the railings and jumped out the ship with a rough landing on the small boat, I took off the bag and placed it aside and started rowing the boat single headedly with Adrenaline to give me the extra push. I got a couple miles away from the ship and saw it go up in flames a couple of minutes later just like how faint said.
^Is he alive?^ i questioned
My eyes started to get blurry and my whole body felt numb, I looked down at my arm and saw a huge scar beneath my elbow and before I knew It I was sitting in a pool of blood.
