DOOM'S AWAKENING

CHAPTER 8: ESSENCE TRANSFORMED

Inside three large recreation rooms in the basement of Knowledge and Sasha lavish Vumba Lincoln Hill estate, there were almost a million dollars worth of electronic equipment, video games, furniture, and paintings. In a room where two ninety-inch flat screens were enclosed inside a wall, clouds of grayish - red smoke seeped from out of the cracks of the televisions.

Diabolically, the smoke had transformed into the bodies of Bellatrix, Bellamy, and two members from her underground kingdom. They'd been ordered by The Supreme Master of Darkness to put its wicked plans into action. Going straight to the source of the power was their most effective strategy.

"Remember what we've been ordered to do," Bellatrix reminded Bellamy, the horns on top of his head spinning from anticipation.

"You'll be changed into Mr. Cephas Mandaa and I'll be changed into Mrs. Mildred Mandaa Bellamy recited so well, knowing her specific duties handed down by The Supreme Master of Darkness.

"Somehow, we're going to lure Sasha Mandaa away from the house."

"Once she's gone from the home, that's when we'll go to work on Knowledge."Or Brilliant Boy, the Earthly superhero, as he likes to be called."

"But first, we must get to his magical Hebrew talisman,' Bellamy prompted, having the details mapped out deep within her psyche.

"You're right, Bellamy," Bellatrix reiterated, trying to stay on schedule since much devastation was in the offing for Knowledge and The Council of the Electrifying Eight.

"Getting to that talisman and taking it to where it belongs must remain our top priority."

"One little slip-up and we're finished, Bellatrix."

"Knowledge's parents have already been taken to the black holes far, far out into the darkest corridors of the Universe. Soon, most of the Universe will be all ours."

"Not most, Bellatrix, all of the Universe. One of my kingdom

members will change over into Ezekiel Sithole, while the other one will change over into one of his friends."

'Alright, all of it. Your kingdom members will play the roles of Ezekiel Sithole and his friend, and then find the magical Hebrew talisman somewhere in this house. After Knowledge and the magical talisman are abducted, that's when we'll take both of them to their respective places.

"Let's move out."

On the first floor of the Mandaa's residence, Knowledge and Sasha and their sons waited patiently in the front room for a possible phone call from Knowledge''s parents. Instead of going straight to the airport, they felt a simple phone call would be sufficient. Knowledge looked down at his watch and the time read 2:20 p.m.

"Mom and dad should've called by now," Knowledge told Sasha, becoming more

concerned.

"Honey, we'll be hearing from them pretty soon," Sasha felt more confident.

'I don't know if we should start heading out to the airport or not."

"Let's wait a few more minutes."

"We still haven't heard from Ezekiel Sithole. He's supposed to bring the caterers here to our home for mom and

dad's anniversary celebration."

'Like your parents, Mr. Sithole is probably running a little late."

Down the street from the Mandaa residence, Bellatrix, Bellamy, and the kingdom members had wondrously transformed themselves into Cephas and Mildred Mandaa Ezekiel Sithole and one of his close friends.
