I put my phone down frustrated. He was so confusing it pissed me off. Locking the screen, I was about to get up when I got another notification.

I sighed ignoring it and decided to take a walk out. The weather was cold out, winter at its peak. Christmas was waiting around in 2 weeks. 

2 weeks. 

That's when we all had planned to meet up, and Felix flew in yesterday. He's staying at my parent's place which was about a 10-minute drive. The thought of meeting everyone made my stomach turn. 

I took my dark puff jacket and keys, quickly walking out of my apartment, and being greeted by the stone-cold air. Late-night walks have been something I've worshipped, after an everyday shit day. I did this, and this brought me peace. 

I sighed walking into a convenience store and the warm air healed the cold. 

"Nice night, ain't it?" The old man who worked behind the register smiled. 

"It is." I smiled. I was a regular here, his wife and he practically loved me. 

"Ahh, Minho~." Mrs. Yeo greeted me. Her same fragile smile that Mr. Yeo loved. "How was your day?" 

"Pretty shit, not gonna lie," I said grabbing a ramen bowl. I walked to the window tables and took a seat. Ms. Yeo took my ramen bowl and heated it up in the microwave. 

"What happened?" 

"Just some drama, nothing too important." 

"Alright," She said coming back with the ramen bowl and chopsticks. "Don't choke on them again." She chuckled as I sucked the noodles in fast. 

"I won't," I smiled.

I was back home after a nice ramen dinner. I opened my phone to see a dozen notifications. 

"Fuck it," I cursed opening the group chat.

I put my phone down feeling my face heat up. Why? I slapped my cheeks multiple times to make myself believe it was red from the slapping. Gaslighting myself clearly did NOT work.
