Desert of Malice and Thunder《Ganondorf x Oc》

~1~ A unfortunate discovery

Stepps halling around the small stairway, parts of the stone laying on each step down. The only source of light is the crackling flame on the torch, giving the small space an orange glow. Black and red smoke coming from the ground up like smoke fog along with similar colored particles flying around the staircase.

A blond, short haired girl, dressed in light blue with golden highlights with black pants and a short gray hylian hood draped around her shoulders, holding the torch high. Before her walks, a boy with golden/blond hair and bright blue eyes and wearing similar clothes like the girl behind him. Behind both another girl, brown light reddish hair reaching down her back over her hylian hood, her hazel eyes reflect the glowing torch before her. Each step is carefully set on the old broken stone stairs, her eyes displaying the anxious atmosphere and a hint of nervousness as if she already knew the upcoming events, at least what they probably will find...

A green turquoise light glowing inside the end of the stone staircase as closer they came to the end as more of this red and black smoke with the particles whir around more and more dense around in the staircase. People start calling it 'gloom' as it infects people who come close to it, making them sick, still without a trace of cure. The three searched already weeks for the source of it, leading them to the depths of Hyrule Castle. Once the bright emblem of the kingdom of Hyrule but more than 100 years ago, it fell as the calamity rose. 100 years, the hero won over the calamity. The kingdom got a safe space for everyone again, yet the gloom appeared and led them along with a few of the sheikah tribe to investigate.

Steps after steps, each growing heavier, strained, anxiously of what they will actually find the source of the gloom? Or a cure? Maybe even a monster... an Hinox or an Lynel...? The atmosphere tensed even more as the Mastersword glowed even brighter as before, sensing danger... great danger. The green glowing gets brighter as closer they get, till the end of the staircase reveals another another big room with a cave like structure. In the middle of the cave, a type of stone platform where, in the middle of it, is someone standing in a strange back leaning position. A green glowing arm clawing in the chest of the person from the arm out a green to turquoise spiral moves up to the cave ceiling, it's similar form to an stalactites and almost reaching the floor. A stream of gloom moving strait to the ceiling from the figure, around the hand of the arm holding the body.

The team of the three are standing at the end of the staircase, the blong haired girl next to the blond boy, behind them stands the other girl who's trying to get a good look at the scene. The blond girl speaking in a surprised, yet slightly anxious and quiet voice, "What is this place?" After a short silence, she spoke up again this time in a more curious tone, "Let's continue, Link. But we must be extremely careful." The boy only nods as normal. He doesn't speak much, only when needed. The blond girl is not minding nor noticing the girl behind her. She starts walking the path to the figure with the torch, which gets more and more dimmer. The boy, Link, looks back at the brown haired girl with worried eyes before following the blond girl. A few seconds of uncertainty, the brown haired girl followed them, even if she's not happy with the decision and recklessness from the princess.

Standing before the figure, the mood was instantly down. The figure turned out to be a mummy and the glowing hand. Well, it stays a single glowing hand, a right one, but it looks less than a human hand, more similar to the one they saw in the room with Zonai stone carvings. On the hand is a weird formed glowing stone, in white colors with also some typ of carving. A similar red stone on the mummy, just on the headpiece of it. As closer as the three came, the more the glowing spiral vanish.

Steps echoes in the big cave loudly, around a meter before the mummy the three walking, looking up to the figure with the arm. Green glowing lines, moving up the arm on the golden outstanding lines, cracking sounds are heard from the arm as it slowly lowered, making the brown haired girl step back as it felt down. The stone detached and rolled away to the princess feet, clinked every step it fell down. The princess crochet down, touching the stone curiously before picking it up. Insteadly the stone glowed in a bright golden color.

A loud heartbeat was heard, halling trought the whole cave, natural all looked to the mummy. It moved his body up, loud creaking noises coming from the tried bones and muscle tissues. It moves naturally up in a cramped way. All eyes are on the chest where gloom is leaking out, where the arm was. But the brown haired girls eyes were on his shoulder jewelry as she saw the gerudo emblem she took several steps back from shock and fear. The heartbeats grow stronger and faster, and suddenly, the mummy fell back down to this weird, half standing position. In another suddenly movement with bone creaking noises, it turned its head to the three of you and from his eyes a red glow came, as fast as it came it finished leaving black eyes with red/orange glowing iris.

In a matter of seconds, gloom came out of his chest and parted in different directions. One came directly to the princess. Which stands there frozen in shock before it could hit her, Link jumped in front of her and blocked the gloom attack with the Mastersword, letting out a small grunt at the impact. The gloom parted again, wrapping itself around the glowing sword up to Links shoulder, who let out painted grunts and holding into his arm, lowering himself to the ground all while the gloom backed off a bit. Shortly after, it attacked again. Link stroke out another swing with the sword at the second impact it shattered in tiny pieces, the princess along with the girl looks shocked at the boy. The tiny broken off sword tip flying trowords the face of the mummy, hardly leaving a cut on its left cheek. A small seething of gloom could be seen and heard. At the time of the impact on the mummy's cheek, the brown haired girl held her left cheek, confused and scared.

Before thinking twice, she looked at Link like the princess, his right arm gray, and his tunic desolved around the wound.
"Link!" called both girls a few seconds difference.

Suddenly, the mummy started to speak in a raspy, coarse voice, "Was that the sword that seals the darkness? A blade that shatters so easily against my power cannot save you from me." it says while raising up again with this awful cracking sound.

"Zelda.... You, who carries that fragile sword.... are Link" they look with widened eyes at it, but Link with an more dangerous glare.

"... And you..." he rumbles out, making the brown haired girl look at the mummy scared, but it doesn't continue. Instead, it continues with its speech, "Rauru placed his faith in you.... and that was all you could do...?"

The princess spoke in a lightly shaking voice with much fear, "How do you.... know our names?" She's standing behind a bit behind the brown haired girl, but the mummy can't really look at the brown haired girl. The mummy make gloom appeared in his hands, forming it together with it hands. He let the gloom go, letting it against the cave ceiling go. The gloom presses the ceiling, causing the whole area shaking. The ground falls apart, and the rest happens in a haze. Firstly, the mummy fell down in the depths, and then the princess and the girl fell, Link jumped after them, but the princess vanished in a golden glow before he could catch her, so he tried to catch her. But the blue arm caught him and pulled him with it before he could reach her; the girl falling into the dark depths with a small scream of help.

All while the castle raises up in the air, from the created hole, the castle left, rises gloom fog up. Several big stone parts are falling down from the sky onto the whole kingdom. The sky darkens, and many more holes into the depths of Hyrule open up, the area around clothed into gloom. On this day, not only a girl disappeared into nowhere but also Hyrules hope and glowy, the hero and their princess...

Soo first chapter so far and got a bit more than i thought...
I hope there aren't as many mistakes as I believe...
