Ch. 4 ~ The Gifted

6 YEARS AFTER

"Dada, wake up! We're already late"

Galadriel groaned and rubbing his eyes as he stretched his arm to grab his phone and check the time.

"Shit!"

He exclaimed and sitting up quickly.

"JG, I'm late for my job interview"

"I'm late too, Dada"

Jett Gabriel his six year old son pouted while crossing his arms. He acted like an adult whenever he is upset or frustrated with his Daddy.

"Sorry, baby"

Galadriel said while grinning. He knows his son hate getting late at school. Galadriel smirked and
playfully tickling his son. JG wanted to escape from him but Galadriel lock him with his arms.

"Dada, please!"

JG laughed loudly.

"stop! I'm ticklish!"

"come on"

Galadriel teased him more.

"Let's take a bath together"

He carried his son to the bathroom and they bathed together. Afterward, Galadriel carefully helped JG put on his school uniform, fastened his black shoes and fixed his hair neatly.

Then Galadriel dressed himself with black pants, a white long sleeved shirt and a neatly tied necktie. Today was important. He had applied for the position of Executive Assistant at one of the biggest companies he had ever dreamed of working for.

"Dada, good luck with your new work"

JG said seriously.

"Baby, please"

Galadriel smiled while touching his face.

"Help Dada pray that I get the job today"

"Of course I will, Dada"

"Wait"

Galadriel said while picking up his phone..

"I'll call Papa Presley first"

"Okay"

Galadriel dialed Presley's number.

"Bro, can you accompany JG for a while?"

Galadriel asked while he is turning off the lights.

"He has a two hour class this morning and I'm not sure if I can come back in time. I have my job interview today"

"Don't worry, Friend"

Presley respond from the other line.

"I've got him"

"Thanks"

Galadriel said with relief.

"I'll go ahead."

He ended the call. Just in time the cab arrive and Galadriel let JG get inside first and then he sat beside him. He told the driver to go first at JG school before going straight to the company he's going to have an interview. When they arrive at School, Galadriel send JG to the school gate and the teacher is waiting for him. He kissed JG's cheeks and grabbed his bag.

"Please be careful, baby. Listen to your teacher, okay? Make friends and don't fight with your classmates"

"Dada, you always say that"

JG laughed.

"I remember everything."

"Good boy. I love you."
