Ch. 28 ~ Declaration letter

Following the discovery of Francisco's possible illness, Jade takes a second assessment from their trusted physician,
and Mr. O'Faolain undergoes an X-ray.

"What do you notice, doctor? Doesn't Dad have a peculiar condition? he went through severed pain yet there's no finding?"

"I apologize to tell you, Jade, that we are incapable of helping your dad, the machine has failed to figure out a problem with his body, and the result remains similar from the previous one."

"Don't worry, doctor, I understand. Thanks for trying to help us."

Jade has no idea what to do; he is helpless now, and he can't handle seeing his father suffer any longer.

He took Mr. Francisco went back to their mansion and tried to figure out what to do next. He saw JG standing at the doorstep, watching him quietly.

"Son? Come here. Why are you standing there? Do you need something?"

JG moved closer to him. He observed his grandpa in bed and examined his body.

"How is Grandpa doing, Daddy? He shouldn't be lying in bed like this, right? My siblings and I would like Grandpa to see us"

Jade looked around and held back his tears. He desires that at some point his father will be able to see his children.

Jade embraced his son and guided him to his grandfather. He grasped JG's hand so he could hold his grandfather's hand as well. JG had an odd feeling while touching him. He felt something on and tried to feel what was going on with him.

"Daddy?"

"What is it son?"

"Grandpa's body is full of tiny needles"

Jade hurried up to hug him, feeling shivers and unable to speak.

"How did you know about the needles JG?"

"I can feel it"

"JG please"

"Daddy let me help grandpa"

Jade froze, staring into his eyes. He doesn't even see the 8-year-old JG in him; all he sees is conviction.

"H..how?"

JG pressed his hands into his grandpa's body, feeling him. JG drives a force that makes his body tremor. Galadriel ran over to see what was going on with them. Jade grabbed Galadriel's hand when he was about to stop JG from what he was doing.

"Jade what is going on?"

"Don't stop our son Gal"

"I don't understand Jade; what is he doing to Mr. Francisco?"

Mr. O'Faolin regained his consciousness and spit a blood, which caused fear. Jade quickly contacted Pierre to prepare the car and drive their father to the hospital. Mr. Francisco can't stop vomiting, and Jade is quite concerned for him.

~Hospital~

The doctor was shocked to see that she had taken microscopic needles from Mr. Francisco's blood, a fact she was unable to explain. Fortunately, all of his organs were in fine shape when she checked them. He gave Mr. O'Faolin sleeping tablets first.

"He'll be okay Jade, his vital signs are good..we just need to watch and help him recover quickly"

"Thanks, doctor. By the way, Doc, can I have a request?"

"What is it Jade?"

"Can you not discuss Dad's record from anyone? and can I have those needles?"

"Oh, okay. I get it."

"Thank you, Dr."

Jade had to make sure Mr. O'Faolin was guarded and safe. Pierre, Ghalib, and him take turns watching their father while he's in the hospital. Mr. Ulrich often visited his friends along with Galadriel; they tried not to bring the kids outside for their safety.

Meanwhile, Fynn was able to continue attending school alongside Ghalib. Fynn is accompanied by him from the mansion to school.

"Bro,we have something to tell you"

Ghalib glanced at Fynn. He urges him to
speak about what happened to him a few
weeks prior.

"Last week, Mr Aldrich came up to me. He
claimed to be my father"

"What???"

Presley was stunned by his remarks. How ironic that his nephew is linked to the Wright family.

"Fynn, I think he's lying."

"He handed us a DNA test Pres"

"Let's verify it first that it's not one of their plots now to hold something from us. Don't be anxious, Fynn. We will not permit him to take you away from us."

Presley comforted him with an embrace. He cannot simply hand him up to that scoundrel.

Next day...

"Sir Presley, you have received a letter from the court."

After receiving the letter from the restaurant staff, Presley and Pierre looked at each other.

It's a declaration letter from Mr. Aldrich Wright: He appeals to have custody over Finnegan Wales ( Fynn). It's formal testimony that a judge considers when evaluating a parent's legal and physical custody requests.

"Pierre, what are we going to do now?"

Pierre simply hugged Presley to calm him down. he was truly irritated by the Wright family.
