sometimes when i think of little me
i wonder how proud she would be
am i someone i would look up to,
want to be?
are my choice and my actions
something i would want to do
am i someone i was meant to be?
is she watching me now,
from deep within
pounding on the bars of her cage
or
sleeping,
content with who i am?
