Part 7

The next morning, Mahi rose with determination in her heart.

 She did her household chores. After preparing a simple breakfast, Mahi called out to Varun to eat.

"Varun, breakfast is ready," she called.

Varun emerged from his room. They sat together, having their meal ,Mahi lost in her own thoughts, Varun saw this and said,

Varun: Didi, are you worrying about money?

Mahi: "NO- No, Varun I am just thinking about what to make for lunch?

Varun is not satisfied with her answer but he decided to let it go.

After having breakfast, Varun swiftly gathered his books and backpack, preparing to head off to college.

 After Varun, Mahi also get ready, as she prepared to leave, Mahi quickly checked her appearance in the mirror, smoothing down her hair and adjusting her clothes. With a deep breath, she grabbed her bag and stepped out to find jobs.

Mahi stood on the bustling street corner, her heart racing with anticipation and nerves. She couldn't help but feel a pang of uncertainty.

With no formal education or qualifications to her name, she knew finding a job wouldn't be easy.

Mahi: "Okay, Mahi, you can do this. You just need to find someone willing to give you a chance."She took a deep breath, motivating herself for the task ahead.

Mahi: "But where do I even start? I have no experience, no qualifications... What kind of job can I even get?"

She racked her brain, trying to think of potential opportunities that didn't require formal education or training.

Mahi: "Maybe I could try a small shop or restaurant... Or perhaps I could offer my services as a cleaner or a helper..."

Mahi: "I'll just have to start from somewhere. I can't let my lack of qualifications hold me back. I'll prove that I'm capable, no matter what."

Mahi: "I need to find a job that pays well and quickly. Going to smaller shops might not provide the income I need in the short span of time."

Mahi: "I should try the big restaurants. They're more likely to pay better wages."

As Mahi made her decision , she stepped towards the posh locality of the city where the big restaurants were located.

The busy city streets slowly changed into a fancier area. Mahi entered the affluent neighbourhood.

Lush greenery adorned the sidewalks, and elegant boutiques lined the streets, hinting at the luxurious lifestyle of the area's residents.

As Mahi stepped into the restaurant, the scent of delicious food wafted through the air, mingling with the murmur of conversation and clinking of glasses.

She took slow, hesitant steps, her heart pounding in her chest as she scanned the elegant interior, inviting ambiance, the soft glow of chandeliers illuminated the spacious dining area.

As Mahi saw around her , a wave of intimidation washed over her. Rich customers were sitting at the tables, dressed in fancy clothes, some engaged in lively conversation with their partners, others surrounded by family or business clients.

 Mahi felt a surge of nervousness as she observed the well-dressed client and also the staffs working there, all this made her self doubt grew. But Alas! she had no other choice..

Mahi spoke to herself in a hushed voice, trying to stop the rising doubts within her."I don't have any other choice," she murmured. "I have to do this for Varun, no matter how intimidating it feels."

She knew that she had to be brave, even in the face of uncertainty, if she wanted to create a better future for herself and her brother.

Mahi took a deep breath, trying to steady her nerves and pushing aside her doubts, she took slow and hesitant steps as she approached the nearest table. 

Unsure of whom to approach, she stood hesitantly, her gaze moving from here to there.
