Chapter 30: I love someone

"Hello." Ishaan greets the girl who has just opened the door. He is in Savi's house. The girl asks him, "Hi, do I know you?"

"Mai Savi ki professor hu. I think you are her roommate."

"Ji. I am Kainaat Sheikh. Please come inside."

Ishaan comes inside. Kainaat makes Ishaan sit on the sofa. She says, "You're here to meet Savi."

"Ha. I heard she broke her ankle."

"Ha. Savi na bohot clumsy hai. You can't believe she tripped over her shoelace."

Ishaan also gives an agreeing look at Kainaat's complaint. He says, "I know that. Clumsy queen hai! Can I meet her?"

"Yeah, sure. Come, please." Kainaat takes Ishaan to Savi's room. They find Savi sleeping peacefully with a book on her face. Kainaat says, "Look! Here we're worrying about her & she is sleeping peacefully. Ishaan aap please yeha baithiye. Mai aapke liye kuch khana lekar aati hu."

"No, uski zaarorat nahi hai."

"No, please. I am coming in a while."

Kainaat leaves from there. Ishaan stares at Savi for a while then he takes the book from her face & keeps it aside. Savi looks cute while sleeping. Ishaan unknowingly starts admiring her sleeping face. But a few hair strands are blocking the view. Some of the hair strands are stuck to her glossy lips. Ishaan suddenly feels an urge to fix the strands of hair. His hand automatically touches her face & he fixes her strands of hair behind her ear. He tries to free the strands from Savi's lips. But suddenly Savi bites his finger. Ishaan falls over Savi due to the sudden action. But Savi keeps biting Ishaan's finger. She says in her sleep, "This chicken leg piece tastes so good."

"My finger seems chicken leg piece to you?!" mumbles Ishaan angrily. He carefully gets away from Savi's body. He sits on the floor beside Savi's bed. He tries to separate his poor finger from Savi's sharp teeth but Savi is bitting it even harder. Ishaan cries out in pain, "The teeth are so freaking sharp! What does this girl eat?! Ouch! My poor finger!"

Savi slowly opens her eyes due to Ishaan's continuous movement. Savi at first stares at Ishaan and then looks at Ishaan's finger which she is bitting. She quickly stops biting his finger & tries to get up but hurts her ankle in the process. Savi screams, "Ouch!"

"Are you okay? Why are you so careless?" Ishaan scolds Savi. Savi says, "Mai to theek hu! But what are you doing here?"

"I have come here to see you. Ouch! My finger hurts so much! Accha what do you eat? Your teeth are so sharp. My poor finger!"

"I start biting your finger?! I am so sorry. Actually, I was eating a chicken leg piece in my dream so..."

"So you thought that my finger was your chicken leg piece."

Savi can't help but smile a little. Ishaan shakes his head in disbelief. Kainaat reaches there with coffee & some biscuits in her hand on a tray. Kainaat says, "Savi, you woke up. Ishaan aapka coffee aur kuch biscuits bhi hai."

Ishaan accepts the coffee & sits on a chair beside Savi's bed. Kainaat sits beside Savi on the bed. Ishaan asks her, "How is your ankle?"

"Sir, are you in love with my ankle or something? You never asked me how am I. But you always ask how my ankle is." Savi says with an annoyed look. Kainaat says in a teasing tone, "Not the ankle he is in love with the owner of the ankle."
