Chapter 39: Vinu Dada?

"Dude, you're not kidding, right?" Karthik asks Dev looking at the photo of the ship. Dev says, "No, I am NOT."

Ishaan, Abhi & Karthik exchange looks at each other. Dev says, "Don't talk with the eyes, talk using the mouth."

"You will get married on a freaking ship?" Abhi asks Dev in shock. Dev replies pretty much casually, "Yes."

Ishaan starts humming a song, "Drop some money. Dropping all my money. Drop some money. All this bread so yummy, yeah.

Dev throws a pillow at Ishaan. Ishaan whins in pain. He rubs his face & says, "Ouch. That hurts."

"Stop singing, you stupid."

"Dev, are you serious about marrying on a ship?" Abhi asks. Dev says, "Do I look like I am joking with you all?"

"Bilkul bhi nahi, my dost," says Ishaan holding back his smile. Karthik asks Dev, "Everyone is agreed to it?"

Dev nods in response. Karthik hugs Dev & says, "I am happy for you."

"Not only you. We all are happy for you, Dev," says Ishaan. Ishaan & Abhi also hug Dev. Dev replies with a smile, "Thanks."

"Accha, now show us some more of your luxurious ship," says Abhi. They all sit down & Dev shows some more pictures of the ship that he will rent.

The scene changes to Keerti walking out of a grocery store. But she bumps into someone knocking off all the things from her hands. She quickly kneels to grab her stuff. But she finds another guy helping her. She looks up & finds a guy helping her to gather her stuff. After some time, the guy hands over the things to Keerti. Keerti says, "Thanks."

"It's fine."

The guy is about to walk away from there, but Keerti stops him, saying, "Do I know you?"

"I don't think so, Miss."

"What's your name?" Keerti asks the guy biting her lower lips due to nervousness. The guy replies with a smirk, "You can ask me that directly, Miss."

The guy comes closer to Keerti & whispers in her ears, "Naksh Singhania."

The guy leaves from there. Keerti blushes looking at the guy's disappearing figure. God knows why but something is unique with this guy. Keerti leaves for Goenka Mansion. Reaching there, she goes to the washroom for a shower.

After coming out, she lays down for some rest. But after a while, someone knocks at the door. She gets up & says, "Kaun?"

"Keerti, it's me Karthik."

"Woh Karthik! Come inside na."

Karthik comes inside. He sits down beside Keerti. He says, "Keerti, you're going to attend Dev's marriage, right?"

"Yeah. Kyu?"

"He is holding the marriage ceremony on a ship. We will go there next week. Luv & Kush are also going with us."

"On a ship? Saach mai? He seems rich, mere Bhai."

"Ha."

"Sirf Luv-Kush? Aur koi nahi?"

"I told Daadi, Akhilesh Chachu & Surekha Chachi. But they will not go."

"Okay. Now, tell me about your marriage. Kaab karegi shaadi?"
