~ Claire's POV ~
OWEN KISSED LAUREN! I couldn't believe it. So many thoughts were racing through my head.
"Owen?" Lauren was smiling.
"Claire come with me" Owen pulled me to the bathroom.
"Owen. Please Owen don't"
"This is the plan. I am going to stay with her for a couple of nights and then. . . I'm going to end it, or do something else. Please trust me. I love you. Always will. Always have." Owen kissed me. I froze. I was scared but I was happy. Knowing that Owen was doing this for me. He loved me. And I knew it.
~ Owen's POV ~
I told Claire the plan and I felt a lot better. I kissed her and told her I loved her. I said goodbye. But I knew I would be back.
"Lauren, I'm ready to go"
"Oh goodie. Bye now Claire" Lauren seemed so happy. I knew this was going to hurt Claire, but as long as Claire was safe and ok, I was ok.
~ Claire's POV ~
I was alone. Standing at my front door. Watching my boyfriend leave with some other woman. I could feel my heart crushing on the inside.
"I love you Owen." I whispered to myself.
I ran upstairs and started crying into my pillow. I couldn't help myself.
Seeing Owen walk off with his ex made me want to retaliate. I knew I couldn't but, there was a feeling inside me that wanted to slap that bitch.
