Paint me with the color of rage
Of passion, of an endless stage
Splay me on a lofty hierarchy
For I rear with love and beauty
Adore me like we are mine
Show me off on evening dine
Savour me like summer wineSing me the best of your songs
Let us dance bare in a fogs
Pull a red wool over mine eyes
Make me feel like a broken ice
Gift me your heart like they are mine
Let me make them like art so fine
To watch them bleed like summer wineI bled in rage when you turn your eyes
Bite on grapes to muffle my cries
For I am filled with homely pride
Up to the brim so I dare not hide
So much verity to twist the lied
Birth from my wish for us to be mine
So cherish me like summer wineAuthor's note
I wrote this little poem one mid night around early April of 2024 after I was done reading a book titled 'summer wine'. The book is about a narcissist and a psychopath who find love in chaos.
The word 'how to love a narcissist' is like the main theme of the story and through that I realized that I might or might not have some narcissist tendency in my fantasy about finally falling in love.
With this thoughts in mind, I sat down and tried to write out my feelings. And the first word I said when I'm done with the piece was "damn, this sounds like a narcissistic bitch searching for love".
