(I'm going to skip the episode of "Rex Igneous").
As the sun started to rise, it had caught the colors of a blazing, aflame ember as it rise in the east. The faint outline of the moon was in a pale circle of silver, glowing faintly in the dawning sky. But waking up in the first light of dawn was Sierra and Orion.
But when Sierra woke up, she was surprised to see a fox gazing at her from the bushes. Feeling uncertain, Sierra gotten a bit of bread out of her bag and offered it to the fox. The fox perked up whilst stepped towards her warily and started nibbling on the bread, causing Sierra to laugh softly as she felt the fox's tongue and whiskers tickled her hand.
"It's okay my friend," said Sierra, encouraging the fox to come out of hiding. "Don't be afraid. You can come with us."
The fox soon stepped out of the bushes, revealing herself to Sierra. The fox's fur is in the color of indigo and light periwinkle blue highlights where a regular fox's brown and white markings are usually at. The fox's eyes were very unique and sharp, but the fox's eyes are bright silver like a pair of bright stars. She nuzzled her leg and they both met each other's eyes, Sierra somehow knew that they were confirmed as equals.
"I think I shall call you Esther." The fox barked and wagged her tail, causing Sierra to laughed softly and petted the Silver-Eyed Fox.
The trio quickly had breakfast together before they left their temporary campsite. So, one foot in front of another, as the morning wore on, they both explored the Drakewood together. The trio splashed through streams, climbed rickety fallen trees, and walked single file along woods. The hours passed quickly as they navigated the many obstacles, and by the time they reached a clearing halfway up the mountain, the day was ending. Sierra and Esther carefully stepped out onto an overlooking hill. The sun was high, and the sky was clear with a golden sunrise and into a calming morning.
It didn't take long for the trio to find the great mountain that has a pair of stone guards in front of the Earth Archdragon's mountain temple. Sierra had gained the sense that the others were probably inside of the mountain temple, but she felt the shaking of the earth from inside of the temple and sensed that the team's meeting was going horribly wrong. She quickly picked up her new furry friend and stepped back from the temple.
Orion could hear the Earth Archdragon getting closer before he feels the doors suddenly move when he saw a gap big enough for their friends to slip through. The second the door has been opened, the team (and Zym?) and a young Earthblood elven boy have rushed past the two stone giants. They soon heard a loud roar, in which it had sent them flying and crashing to the ground. The Earth Archdragon now stood at the entrance they had managed to squeeze out of, roaring angrily before he started towards the group as they get up.
"This is the end, we're doomed!" Soren exclaimed.
"What about the strength in our heart?" Callum asked his friend. "Like a minute ago, you were saying the only strength that matters is—"
"Doomed!" yelled Soren.
"One big dragon versus a little dragon, three humans, two elves, a perian, a silver-eyed fox, a cuddlemonkey and a glow toad, our chances of our survival are low," Orion commented as he and Nora joined their friends. "Like, very low."
As Rex reared his head back to blast fire at them, a loud crack of thunder could be heard from the sky. The group looked up in time to see the clear sky overhead now covered with dark clouds as more thunder rumbled before a bolt of lightning almost blasts the dragon's front leg. They all turned back in time to see Zubeia land behind them and moved forward.
As the Dragon Queen stood protectively in front of them, she and Rex began growling and snarling at one another before the Earth Archdragon roared loudly, causing large pillars of fire to erupt from the ground around them. Zubeia responded with an equally loud roar, causing lightning to dance around and striking the ground before she fell silent and snarled at the opposing dragon. For a moment, it looked like Rex was going to attack, but instead he lifted a talon to remove something small from it and spat it out. He soon turned to walk back into his mountain, angrily smacking the stone walls before he disappeared inside.
"Zym! You defied me and look what happened!" The Dragon Queen shouted as the younger Storm Dragon ran to hide behind Ezran. "You are in big trouble little dragon!"
"But if he hadn't defied you, you wouldn't have showed up to save the day!" Soren tried to point out boldly to the Dragon Queen. "Zym wouldn't have discovered the perfect way to wake some of our friends up with my smelly feet! So, we'd all be super dead!"
"There's that!" Ezran agreed.
"Yes, there is that, I am very glad you re all not... super dead," Zubeia replied with an annoyed sigh.
"Well, I's glad we're not as well, even when we searched for Soren." Sierra shook her head, clear annoyance in her voice. "But... Where is Rayla?"
"Little help over here?!" The group looked up in surprise and rush up the steps to see Callum trying to pull a familiar elven hand out from under a pile of stones. They all rushed up to help before a dazed Rayla and her little fluffy pet are pulled out, Callum immediately hugging her and sobbing loudly.
"I'm so glad you came back!" He cried, the others join in ont he group hug, save for the young elf. They heard excited barks as Zym tackled them, knocking them all onto the ground.
"You should all get checked, the closest village should be the Drakewood elves village," Zubeia spoke up, while glancing towards the woods. "You can all tell me what happened while we figure out what to do next."
"Sounds like a plan." Ezran nodded his agreement with Zubeia's spoken idea.
